Best web provider for a newbie to set up on?

Hi everyone, I am pretty new to marketing online. My main goal is to sell a product through people's existing list through a quick webinar or simply by having them sending out the offer in an email with a link to a pre-recorded video. It is not a product in which I can upload so I will be mailing them the physical product.

It appears JVZOO and Clickbank are set up for e-products and not physical ones.

Any suggestions on which web provider to use so I can easily set up a word press page ( I have no experience) and be able to track affiliate sales.

Thanks!

Jeff

I am confused as to what you're trying to send people...you're trying to send them a video...but you can't upload it, so now it's a physical product?

I don't know if I've been more confused.

But, The Best Web Hosting | Fast Professional Website Hosting Services - Bluehost and Affordable Web Hosting | StableHost are two hosts I use that offer one-click WordPress installs.

How much traffic do you think you will be running? I only ask as this will be key information if you need a VPS or if shared hosting might tie you over to begin with.

I am not sure on the traffic yet. What level is it best to have use a VPS?

If you are having to ask when you will need a more powerful server I don' think you need a VPS right now. You probably have a lot of figure out and can do that the sooner you get started somewhere. I'd also stay away from HG for now. I still have some HG accounts and they are very slow. I have started to move some of my sites to SiteGround.

Overall they are an excellent shared hosting choice - aggressive pricing for the first year which will rise in the subsequent years, but the GoGeek package is pretty good when you just finding your way.

Whoever you host with make sure you make backups and if you are really paranoid, keep all your images and media off the host elsewhere, like say in Amazon S3.

Softlayer has flexible, affordable, easily scalable VPS hosting:

Virtual Servers | High-performing, highly-reliable virtual server instances

HostGator is good for "just plain ol hosting" hosting. You can probably do okay with VPS hosting there, as well as at Namecheap.com.

Most web hosting providers allow users to set up WordPress with one click. Nowadays you can have your blog up and running within minutes. GoDaddy, Hostgator, Dreamhost, and BlueHost offer excellent customer support and quality services, so you should check them out.

If you're going to use a one click WordPress install e.g from fantastico then make sure you properly secure the install (there's plenty of guides on the internet). Or use a security plugin like " Ithemes security".

I use hostgator because they are cheap and cheerful, though I fully anticipate a move if one of my sites becomes particularly popular.

I just moved from GVOt knnpw (the old Kiosk - now also known as the MLM company, PureLeverage) to Veerotech - have a reseller account with WHM and don't what the problem is but seems very very slow - even GVO was not this bad.

So for the moment - not pleased.

      Hi there,

Do you have a ticket number I can look into this for?

Unless, you are referring to our Raleigh location, which does in fact have an issue with one of our servers there that is being addressed currently with a replacement.

How are things currently at Veerotech? Happier now or still the same?

Hey Jeff, you can setup easily an ecommerce website with wordpress and WooCommerce, and it is free.

If you want to create instead an affiliation system where your readers spread via email all your products and earn a commission for each sell, you can use the plugin of https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/

They have a good Affiliation plugin that works in conjunction with their shop plugin. Cheaper and easy to setup and make works.

Only it is not made for thousand of products, you need to work on a few products.

Consider using Amazon's S3 service if you're expecting great traffic.
