New WP 2.8 Blog Problem

Does anyone have an idea why my WP 2.8 version blog shows the URL in the browser tab and not my targeted keyword?

I've put up dozens of WP blogs using other versions and they've never shown the URL in the tab, always the keyword.

Put this new blog up yesterday and obviously used the new 2.8 version with the said results! :confused:

Is it 2.8 or something I've done wrong this time?

Any ideas on the fix?

    Do you mean that the page title is reporting the url?

    Could be a template issue, have you tried it with the default template and any others to check what you see?

    I haven't seen that issue exactly, but it could be the theme or probably a plugin that isn't working smoothly with the new 2.8.

    As suggested above, switch to the default theme 1st and see if the issue goes away. Then turnoff your plugins and test it and then reactivate them 1 by 1 until you find the cause.
