questions about affiliate marketing

How is everyone doing today? I hope all is well. I wanted to ask a question about affiliate marketing. I know the most important thing is building a list which is something that can be done many different ways. What i want to know is, how do you become an affiliate of an offer? Like what do you have to do to become an affiliate when someone is launching a new offer or product and just shoot that to your list as people do to you when your on theirs. I know this is a rather simple question, but its one that i am still confused about. thanks.

Well, depending on the product...you sign up via an affiliate network.
Examples of affiliate networks are: Clickbank, JvZoo, Clicksure, Commission Junction, Share A Sale, etc...

Some products are independent any affiliate network. If you want to promote a certain product, go to the product page and look for an "affiliates" link, or you can contact the seller or vendor directly and ask them about promoting their product for a commission.

Join Affiliate programs such as JVZoo or WarriorPlus. Then just search for products in the marketplace to promote. You will need to get approved from the vendors to promote their products. Clickbank is another platform that you can get approved for instantly.

    1. Join an affiliate program
    2. Create a sales funnel
    3. get some traffic to join your sales funnel
    4. offer the products

Of course there are a lot of things you should implement between each steps such as becoming an authority or start a blog so people will come to you for the product.

Theres free affiliate products your can promote like hostgator for example. Theres affiliate companys like clickbank you can get percentages from. Then theres license reseller affiliate products that you need investment on.

Either or, this is the easy part. Having a sales funnel while list building before you invest your time and effort on affiliate promotion. Fully understanding how to break even or profit whilst building your list

I'm going to address just that portion of your post. The best way to find out where and how for new launches is to participate on Joint Venture sites. Here is a few that you can start with.

All of those will tell you what affiliate platform they are using and give you links to learn about their affiliate terms and the resources they are providing to affiliates.

When I do affiliate promoting I really like to use Warrior Plus and Clickbank.

Also I do promote Aweber and Hostgator.

They are very simple to sign up with. Very straight forward.

btw, Warrior Plus is a goldmine for Affiliates in IM niche.

You have to sign up for the affiliate program. Some companies like ebay, walmart, buy.com, etc will need to review your website before they give you a "yes" or "no". But for most on Clickbank for example... it's just a matter of signing up as an affiliate, and start promoting. Then for every product you promote, you'll have a tracking ID that signifies that YOU caused the sale to happen... thereby giving you a commission.
