People told you to start a mailing list, thats probably thats the things they regret to build when they are just like you. People say that for a reason. There are a lot of ways to make money but the most stable income online are thru ... mailing list.

His post made perfect sense.

What he is actually trying to tell you is that you cannot expect a lot of money if you don't want to build a mailing list.

If anything, you're just prolonging your misery.

We understand the need to be different but what you're trying to achieve now is the one that doesn't make sense.

P.S. You might accuse me too of increasing my post count so let me tell you beforehand that in the WF, post counts don't matter. Views to your sig do...

Just wondering, why?

Building a list isn't that difficult and once you have a decent sized list you'll be making some money. I don't see why you're so against the idea?

there's probably ways to drive traffic directly to aff link and make money and never ever build a list. I've read about plenty of them just don't give up most ppl say the same things the common ones doesn't mean other things don't exist.

I've read plenty of wso for instance on how to drive traffic directly to aff link and make money no need to build a list.

You can look for a product on clickbank or any website with affiliate program. Then send traffic to that product with your affiliate link using PPC or solo ads. If someone buy that product, you will receive a commission. If no one buy, you lose lead and money on your PPC advertising/solo ads.

But if you're using a capture page to promote affiliate products, you can follow up your leads anytime you want..

That's why it is very important to build a list if you really want to make money online...

When we talk with seasoned affiliate marketers, not building an email list is the #1 mistake they admit that they should have done right from the very beginning.

So it's a big no no not to take that route.

Your first mistake is not is very obvious. If you don't start by learning how to build and monetize a list...You will probably fail.

The biggest mistake I ever made as an internet marketer was not building a list when I first started.

I never made any real money online until I got serious about building my list. Once I concentrated on building a list,I was able to make a full time living online.

My advice to you would be forget about blogging (it is really not a money maker unless you use your blog to build your list) and concentrate on learning everything you can about email marketing.

Then either use free or paid tactics to promote your list. That's a proven formula!!!!

I understand that being a newbie, the thought of building a list scares you.
You can still make money as an affiliate selling clickbank products.

If you don't make a list, you will be buying traffic for every new product you decide to sell.
But if you have a good list, you can promote different products to the same list and can still make money.
That's why everybody keeps saying that the "money is in the list"

And its not hard you make a list when you already buying traffic, you just have to get an auto responder (aweber, getresponse). That's it.

So bottom line:
you can still make money without building a list
But in the long run you can make 5 times more if you have a list by doing the same amount of work

Using PPC ads to promote affiliate offers and products can be a great way to make fast returns, and high returns!

However, most ad agencies don't allow direct linking to click bank, at least I know Adwords doesn't. So you'll have to make a landing page or something like that for these promotions.

Make sure you track your campaigns closely and always look for ways to optimize your click through rates!

Also, put an email capture page on the landing page so you can be building an email list at the same time! This is what I do with CPA offers currently.

I agree with what he was saying about wanting to find another way to make money besides building a list but how do you expect to make any repeat sales? I didn't have much luck with clickbank myself & have found that most people won't spend a dime unless it is something they really need.

I used to be the same way. I didn't want to start building a list because it seemed like an overwhelming task.

You gotta do it. Your lists will be your greatest assets. You can have returning customers and promote many different offers.

As far as blogging. Why was your blog banned? Were you creating your own content?

It seems like you're like me when I started. I wanted to make money online, but I went about it with a very lazy approach

$25 for Ads is very low and you will end up wasting your money and get a wrong impression about IM. Ideally you have to put around $400-$500 to start with PPC, as otherwise you won't be able to collect any data and find keywords that convert. In the beginning you will aim to break-even, but even if you operate at a small loss it is perfectly fine. Later on once you optimise your campaigns, you will start seeing your first profits.

Your email list will be your biggest asset when it comes to affiliate marketing. If you don't have an email list, you will loose the customer forever. Also, if you use click bank you will earn some money but not a lot. The commissions are low and there is no reoccurring income. Im not saying it doesn't work, but it will require more time and effort to see results... I have tried it for myself

I suggest to try high ticket offers that give you higher commissions.

First off, if it's get removed by spam - then it's probably not a content that is ethical to show to a visitor.

Secondly, get a domain and hosting and noone will ever remove your blog.

You should try start a blog on your own domain and install Wordpress.
Free Blogs like Blogger.com have been deleting affiliate blogs on a regular basis.
DO what i did buy a cheap domain from namecheap and host it on a free hosting site until
you have enough money to buy a paid one. Install wordpress and start blogging.
You will now have total control over your blog and what content banners you
place on it.

If you want to use a blog to get some money, you have to make a very good blog which is beneficial for other people. It must have information that people are waiting for and you should update the blog regularly in order people can get the newest information.

There are a lot of bloggers that become a millionaire from just blogging. And you also can do it if you want.

Don't get me wrong, but NOTHING in your post tells me you want to take action. You have spammy bogs, you don't want lists and you "look up how much traffic a niche is getting", rather than something more specific (a product or service maybe?) and then you say you are a noob!

You said you need feedback and that's what I think.

Generally free blogs don't like blogs built just for affiliate links, it's a much better option to get your own hosting, try Hostgator or Bluehost. They're 2 of the best hosts and are reasonably priced.

Then setup a 1click WordPress install and start blogging freely with no risk of your site being removed. Everyone else in the forum that mentioned you need a list is right, but first get your website up, use thirstyaffiliates to get your affiliate links looking prettier and then use a free mailing service like mailchimp (or Aweber if you have a budget) to start building a list while you blog on your self hosted blog. I think this is the best option for a newbie affiliate that wants to get started on a small budget. It's what I do!

Not anymore, unfortunately. They've been bought by EIG, and now people are complaining about the quality of their services.

From my personal experience, just a few weeks ago I had to wait 30 minutes to get in touch with someone through live chat, something that usually took 5 minutes or so.

Buy a domain name and hosting, set up a WordPress site, and write content before you start selling products. You've already tried this with a free blog - it doesn't work. Setting up your own website costs only a few dollars, so it's worth the investment. Once you do that, you'll be able to promote your offers and make money online.

I get the impression you are looking for instant success without much forethought,
typically how newbies buzz around trying everything without any real plan.
Buying traffic is an art.
Pay for your own blog, it won't get closed down.
Bore down on a micro niche, put all your efforts into that until you get results,
with articles and videos, it will happen but don't expect it over night.
and then, as they say, rinse and repeat.

Unfortunately you probably would not make it in IM if you are not listening to 'everyone'. Sorry to be so blunt. But that is the harsh reality.

To make any kind of money on the internet you HAVE to build a list of potential and existing customers. At least in any meaningful way.

When you say that your blog are always removed, I suppose you are talking about Google index?

If yes, probably you are doing something wrong, but, if you open your blog and write good original contents no one will remove it, also it will rank.

I know that there are a lots of guys out there doing good with Click Bank affiliate marketing with paid traffic, but I think that if you want to create a solid money base you need to have a blog and work on get traffic to it.
