Leadpages OP Necessary

I am in the process of creating a new sales funnel and already have a decent squeeze page generation tool. Is there any large benefit to paying extra for Leadpages or Optimize Press? Other than the easy split testing of course. I already have enough expenses getting this started as is but I see many internet marketers using one of the two so I thought it best to ask.

I have never used Leadpages or OP - and I've been able to split test without any issues.

Do you weight your traffic to each page in real time or just send traffic for a day to one then send the traffic the next day to the other page?

LeadPages and OptimizePress just make things easier, but if you already have a decent tool that does the job, I don't see any necessity to get either of them.

    I have done both.

There are a ton of split testers out there...Google Experiments is pretty good...and free.

      It depends what you're after.

They both have great features, but lead pages is targeted more toward newbies.

LP is far more simplistic and easy to use over OP and the built in tracking and split testing is great. The issue I found is that LP lacks in customizability. It's more, here's your template, now change the colours of the buttons and the background and you're done! Too simplistic for me. $67 a month was a kick in the balls too.

I have OP 2.0 and I love it. Far more customizable, you can do pretty much anything you want. You'll have to use external software for your tracking and split testing, but you're better off doing your tracking externally anyway.

    Hi,

Lead Pages has proven to convert templates within it's package that save
you time and energy on testing various squeeze page templates etc.

Having said that you'll still need to split test your headlines etc anyway.

And sometimes it can actually be harmful to have high opt in rates if
you don't target your traffic correctly.

So HIGH opt in rates aren't always the BEES KNEES when it comes
    to building your lists.

I'd much rather have 10 PROVEN BUYERS on my lists that could go
onto buy my HIGH ticket offers than have 100 people who are only
    mildly interested in my offers.

So it all depends on your end GOAL here.

Do you want to just build BIG lists and monetize them through multiple
    mediums?

    Or...

...Are you looking for LASER TARGETED traffic that actually wants,
needs and desires what you have to offer?

If you're just looking for TIME saving tools that have templates to die for
and look professional then of course go for O.P. 2.0 or Lead Pages.

But I wouldn't necessarily say that they are ABSOLUTELY 100%
required for your success at the beginning.

I've invested in O.P. 2.0 but this is because my business is now at a stage
where time is everything for me.

So you could invest once you start making your first incomes.

    All the best,

    Gavin

Thank you very much for taking the time to craft that response Gavin, this is why I love to visit WF everyday. I guess I just need to get my first giveaway product out there to start getting some subs and just learn from there. I don't mind at all spending the money but that being said I would really like to avoid unnecessary start up costs as well.

I use leadpages and I must say I love it..
Very simple to use and implement everything in the members area

While OP tends to be somehow difficult to use when compared to leadpages.

Leadpages are considered to be best nowadays.. (but anyways, that was my opinion)

    Hope it helps

Leadpages is definitely not a must have tool. It's like many tools in this market. They are there to help beginners complete tasks they may otherwise not be able to by themselves. So if Leadpages will solve a problem you have then it's definitely worth the money and that's how you need to look at all tools in this market. $x per month is not expensive if you are able to make 2 x $X per month by using that tool.
