How To Be Successful On..

by Ross A 9 replies
As a vendor, how can I become successful on clickbank. To be specific, what can I do now to reach page 1 on clickbank marketplace?

Someone has suggested to make another clickbank account and use that to market my own product to boost my gravity, but I think that may not be the right way to do it.

Any tips/advice would be appreciated.

Get affiliates promoting your product. This won't just happen by listing your product in the marketplace since there are literally thousands of products for affiliates to choose from.

You need to be pro-active and go out and find the affiliates who are promoting other similar products in your niche. You then need to reach out to those affiliates and give them a reason to promote your product over the other products they are already promoting.

You'll want to have some solid sales stats before approaching affiliates. No affiliates want to be your guinea pig so you need to first drive your own traffic to your own offer and get some solid stats that shows your product converts and converts well.

Otherwise you'll have trouble getting anyone interested in promoting it.

Creating the product is the easy part. You'll see literally thousands of products on Clickbank that have few to none sales. Most think it's as easy as creating a product and the customers will come. But it's not that way. You need to go out and drive those customers and affiliates to your product.

An angle you'll want to thinka bout is building some hype for your product either before or launches, or during the launch week itself.

The more you network, the more affiliates you can grab. Google search for clickbank product launch facebook groups, and also various IM communities (like this one) where you can spread the word about the product. Then also get involved in niche sites related to your product too. Find out all the paid and free methods for getting the word out in the places where your potential customers would also be.

      Sadly, that doesn't work.

Without all the other advice in this thread, you would just have another "who cares" product on Clickbank. No one would see it and no one would buy it.

You see great product ideas and prototypes in every market, but most of them fail because no one had the vision to market them. Clickbank products are the same way, no marketing, no luck.

Of course, you should make the great product first, and then follow through with all the other advice.

In my personal experience, this doesn't hold true.

Granted, a 101 other factors come into play, too, but it should really go without saying (though I did, anyway) that it all starts with a great product.

You can't construct a great building without a strong foundation. Same applies to a product on Click Bank.

You need to do a launch for easy gravity.

Set a launch date for 2 weeks, and then contact affiliates and people with a list. Do a $500 contest to attract bigger players, and pay for premium spots on launch notifier websites. If you do this correctly, and you can get 50 affiliates to make at least on sale, you should get onto the first page.

After that your pretty much set for a good few months whilst you create your next product.

These are two radically different questions, Ross: becoming a successful vendor on ClickBank has nothing at all to do with "reaching page 1 on ClickBank's Marketplace" (whatever that means).

If you made another account and sold 10,000 copies of the product through it, that would boost the gravity by all of one single point. I strongly suggest that you stop listening to whomever gave you that advice, just in case all their "information" comes right out of the Urban Myth School of Internet Marketing.

The way to become successful as a vendor on ClickBank is to have a high-quality product with an affiliate-friendly, professionally-written, split-tested and refined sales page, with proven conversions of targeted traffic, with no hype and no leaks, which the 5% of affiliates there who make 95% of the sales are enthusiastic to promote, to have a good Marketplace listing, a good affiliates' page, a good Vendor Spotlight page, and to develop some affiliate-attracting skills.

These are the kind of things that serious, pro-affiliates look for in a sales page, if it helps: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post2161932

These are the steps you need to know...
    1. Create a valuable product
    2. Look for Affiliates
    3. Find them on facebook and in some facebook groups
    4. Offer them something in exchange to promote for you.( high % commissions works great)

Do Everything correct and and you will have more affiliates promoting your product..

    Hope this helps

You should get affiliates to promote your product. But that is not good advice right there because people are already promoting other stuff.

This is what you can do but there is ONE catch: (You have to promote your offer like crazy by yourself and get as many sales as possible.)

Then at the back office where you let your customers download the product, allow them the option to signup to your affiliate program. Many vendors are doing this successfully. All you have to do is market HARD and get 10's and even 100's to join your program through your own marketing at first.
