Best, Effective Traffic Methods for Newbie?

Hi. So I am not really interested in SEO, keywords, articles, etc.

I just wanted to see if anyone knows or is currently using effective online services (websites) to bring traffic to their own websites or URLs. So far, I have found these to be worth trying:

1. Solo Ads (don't know any places yet. I've seen some offered here on the WF though)
2. Facebook (alternative to Google Adwords)
3. PPC (maybe Bing?)

I am more interested in affiliate (URL- and lead page-friendly) places and services. Do you have any suggestions?

I am definitely willing to pay for traffic if it works.

Thanks!

I recommend using Solo Ads and PPC. You can checkout Safe-Swaps and Lead-Swaps websites which have tons of Solo vendors and worth to pay!

In PPC I recommend Bing and some penny click networks like 7Search.com

  • You can also try doing retargeting on your current paid ad campaigns. Adroll.com is a good one for retargeting campaigns.

Thanks! I will check those places out. It seems that many people recommend the same places around the WF, so these places must be worth checking out.

Solo Ads (Try UDIMI, but be very careful as there are several scammers)

    Bing (Cheaper than Adwords)

    and then Facebook Ads

Solo ads are great, some people on here offer good ones as well as SafeSwaps.com

As far as PPC goes, find one you can get good at first, especially if you start off. Facebook PPC network is completely different than BING and will probably confuse you if you try and do both at the same time.

Other than that, forum marketing is simple as well as just doing videos and using PPC to promote those

Lots of good suggestions so far.

I'd like to ad that with the Facebook ads, you can also set up retargeting...and it's super cheap. Just make sure you have a Facebook retargeting pixel on you page (the landing page of the ad). Then anytime someone lands on your page, whether they buy, leave opt-in, or whatever, they will be added to your Facebook "audience".

Once your audience reaches at least 20 people, you can then run ads that will ONLY be served to your audience. Now THAT is targeted traffic.

For PPC I have had decent results with BING. I would suggest keeping you keywords very targeted and specific. Many people go wide and wild with tons of keywords.

Try keeping them linited to just a few buyer focused keywords. In other words - what would a potential customer type it that would take them to your site andt here they find EXACTLY what why want to buy?

Bing is a good source of cheap traffic. i also recommend forum posting to see how well your lead page converts. Once you are satisfied with your conversion rate, then you can try solo ads.

Solo ads and PPC are great ..

But you need to make sure that you are getting a good ROI .

Also, If you are using these paid traffic sources , I would suggest you build a list too (as it will help you in the long run )

To increase the amount of traffic to your page, you either need time or money. It is up to you which one that you want to use.

The best free sources of traffic

Forums - Such as WarriorForum and other forums that deal with your niche. You can run a search on google.

Social Media Networks-You can grow your followers and give good content and information, and also direct your friends and followers to your website.

Craigslist-You can post in the classifieds section or the business opportunity section about your product you are trying to market. You can also post in their discussion board under whatever section your niche is in.

Solo Ad Swaps-If you already have a list, you can find someone else with a list and have them send out an email with your link to their list, in return for you doing the same for them.

The best sources of paid traffic

Solo Ads-You can pay someone that has plenty of leads to send out an email with your link so that you can gain some of their leads. You can find people with soloads on warrior forum, google, etc. Just make sure you do research before you use them. You may also want to only buy a small amount of leads at first, and if they are official then you could add them to your list of people you can purchase solo ads from.

Facebook Ads-You can pay facebook to target the people who are most likely in your market with your advertisement. This can draw plenty of people to your site depending on your budget and traffic keywords.

I am going to start out with Facebook ads and Bing for now. Probably try out Solo Ads once I know I have some good squeeze pages and find a good provider who'll accept me.

But looking at the costs, it seems all of these methods basically cost the same. Although, I'm thinking solo ads might be better since the people aren't as random like on Facebook or Bing (where it is targeted by group interests/categories and keywords).

I have to respectfully disagree with the statement about the part about people not being as random on Solo Ads as they would be on Facebook or Bing.

See the thing is, is that Solo Ads are a good source of traffic. I know first hand.

But you also got to take into account that the vendors you are purchasing these solo ads from, are also selling solo ads to other marketers, yet making those people who have opted into your list are also on hundreds if not thousands of other marketers lists.

Now don't get me wrong, I love solo ads and they are a great and fast way to get hundreds of leads overnight, depending on how much traffic you purchase. But the fact is, you don't want people opting into your list without a well oiled constructed sales funnel, with a nice strong follow up sequence in place.

Now me personally, I would rather have a person on my list that is not on hundreds of other peoples list. So I don't have to fight as hard to get them to open up my email and take an action once they've opened that email.

With that said, If you hone in and master Bing or Facebook traffic and target the right audience, then my opinion is that you are going to get better qualified leads from Bing and Facebook as those leads may not be on hundreds of other lists.

Now I know I will probably have people who disagree with me. But I am simply stating that I have had better results by using Bing, than I have had with Solo Ads.

Hi richaado, if you are looking for a traffic generation strategy that is 1) Fast, 2) Scalable and 3) Consistent then I suggest Solo Ads.

You can look up Udimi.com as a source for suppliers of Solo ads. It is free to join.

There are also 'Free' solo ad suppliers (referred to as Safelists) that do the same thing as the paid version. You can check out sites like:

    ListJoe v3
    State-Of-The-Art-Mailer
    listbuildingmaximizer

(Type the above names into your search engine)

There are many more but you get the point.

Word of advise though; be very organized when using safelists as it can become overwhelming.

I myself do not delve too much on PPC but I have had some success with it in the past.

    Hope the above helps.

Richaardo you can look into banners ads also.

There are many bloggers out there that get tons of traffic but they don't know how to monetize it, they just blog for the sake of it.

You can get to an arrangement with them to put a banner on their site for a monthly fee or a CPC fee.

Just make sure that the traffic you are getting from those blogs is targeted to get more conversions.

    Hope this helps,

I will digress from your list and say you should try creating videos (namely youtube).

They can be used for any market, niche...nearly anything you can think of.

Second thing you should concentrate on is creating a decent funnel. Once you get traffic (people to view your videos and click through) you can collect their emails and pass them through a funnel where they buy stuff.

This is what i should have done when i first started, but alas i took the long and arduous way to make my $$$.

If i were to restart this is what i would do, so there's no theory here.

For Solo ads i recommend SafeSwaps.com

For PPC I would go with Bing as people have usually had the best experience with them!

Buying traffic is always a risk, hope you get a good outcome mate!

I started with solo ads and still generate traffic this way.

The key to solo ads and buying any traffic in general is to break even.

    Reliable and consistent traffic source.

Be content with breaking even, this is obviously the equivalent of free traffic.

Always drive traffic to a squeeze page so that you can gradually build relationships build trust and thus sales.

    Also implement a sales funnel.

Spend an hour or so acting like you are your best customer looking for a product like yours. Where are your eyes drawn to? What captures your attention the best?
Switch off your marketers brain and try to think like 1) someone who already knows your product and is keen 2) someone who knows your niche and has heard of you, the expert and 3) someone who is familiar with your niche but doesn't know you.
If you can see advertising methods that can attract those 3 customer types, invest in those ones for yourself because if other people are using them consistently, they must be successful.

Any place that you will use to advertise for a fee, you want to track your results to see if it works or not.

For me, pay per click is the best way to go because from there, you have fresh people who have never been exposed to so many opportunities before like in SOLO ADS.

Check out the Facebook Solo Ads Testimonial Page. If you want to buy solo ads then you really need trustable and recent testimonials from other people.

Once I bought a solo ad but my results were really bad because I was sold cheap an unresponsive click just because I didn't search for trustable sources.
