Half way there...need help

Hi everyone!

Okay..I have a membership site. I was featured on MSN's homepage 2 times this year and I received about 15 000 hits both days. I am a regular guest on a local radio station about 4 times a year as well.

Two days ago, I appeared on television and radio again. I received about 1000 hits.

My conversion is generally pretty good (as I have faith in my product).

Here's the problem:

I get great response and acquire new members when I promote myself BUT when I'm not actively promoting, I'm not getting any visitors!!!

-I AM article marketing (I have only 10 active articles through ezine)
-I have a blog (only about 10 entries)
-I have some outbound links but only a few inbound ones
-I have a few videos on youtube
-I offer free advice on my site

Am I impatient? Should I create a forum? Do have have to be more aggressive with my content?

Thanks for your help.

keep promoting. You have to be persistent and have loads of patients. It may time for it to catch on but if the product/service is genuine and you have faith in it then keep going.

Without a vision the people perish. You have to continue to convey that message to your affiliates. Get them active in promoting and believing in the product/service/system. Once they get behind you, and duplicate what you do, then you will see growth.

Embarassed to say...I don't have affiliates yet.
Is it easy to set up? I've done some preliminary research and I seem to like 'linkshare' more than the others.
Do I just sign up as a merchant and get a code? Is it that easy to set up?

    Hey TheTeach,

    have you thought of outsourcing
your seo, link building, article marketing, etc?

Affiliates is also a great idea.
Since you have a blog, I would put the extra effort there.
    blogging pays off big time.

    Igor
