Shocked with the results

I had a website up for about 3 weeks and I noticed that I was getting a very low time spent on site, no-optin's at all and very high bounce rate.

So I looked up highest exit page, turns out to be my homepage.

All I did next was take out 2 tables that didn't look properly aligned and that were 2 affiliate products and presto!

Last 3 days, 3 optins and thats with less than 7 unique visits in the same time period! Also, My onsite average last 3 days has been near 5 minutes!

I''m surprised a small change like that can bring those results! Now I have to further promote and start getting backlinks!
