INTERNET MARKETING

I am a little worried if my domain has any copyright issues. The domain is tvshowfans.com (tvshow representing the name of the show). Just for example sake, breakingbadfans.com is an example of what my domain is like.
The show is one of the most popular shows in the world right now. Is there any copyright issues?

It wouldn't be a copyright issue. It would be a trademark issue.

Titles. Titles, while not protected under copyright law, are sometimes protected under trademark and unfair competition laws. However, one-shot titles, no matter how clever they are, are not automatically entitled to trademark protection. To be protected, titles must achieve "secondary meaning." Secondary meaning is akin to the commercial magnetism of a title. As a rule, to be protected, titles must be "broadly known." Series titles, unlike one-shot titles, make good trademarks candidates. In addition, a title in one medium, will be protected in another.

So, is it a TV series? If so, it could spell trouble.

  What I have done when I accidentally registered something that turned out to be trademarked was to not put any content on it and let it expire, or if on Godaddy, you can delete it early. Just not worth the potential trouble.

delete the domain and move one.
Choose a new name and start with that.

Don't use it. You could potentially put a lot of work into the site only to have it shut down by a cease and desist letter.
