Many times when needing images for projects, people will do a Google search and find an image there to use. The only problem with that is that you could get into copyright issues. You need to make sure that you have the right to use the images.

There is a site Morguefile.com free stock photos that offers high resolution stock photos for free with no royalty fees. Just do a search there and save some headaches..

If you have ever used Google then Google also gives you the option to search by Rights. Do a little research and save space.

Yes that is true about the rights option. But they are not always accurate to be honest, and can get you into trouble if you only go by that. With sites like the one I listed and other similar, the images there are put there for that purpose, so you are guaranteed to have the permission.

There are others but since this one is free, I listed this one, but the whole idea is to make sure no matter where you get your images, that you get the proper rights to use them.

it's a tricky area with images, some people I have worked with before used sites like dollar photo and didn't realise that they couldn't use them for commercial gain. If you do you have to pay some more money to them as part of the licence fee - i dont know if anyone actually does or not, but something to bear in mind even when you are buying photographs.
