Urgent Need Help: My website is down

I notice my website went down yesterday and i contacted my hosting provider. They informed me that my database is corrupt and they tried to restore the backup but it failed. I don't have a personal backup, please how can i get back my website online???
I have been running this website for 2years and i can't afford to lose it... please i need urgent help

    No one can help you except your host, try ask them if they have other backups. You should back your website and not be dependent on your hosting provider.

    If there is no other backups or a way to fix the corrupted backup, then you might need to construct your website again.

      The same is true when it comes to your email list. Have you backed up your email list recently? This is just as important as restoring your website - possibly even more important. You DO have an email list, right?

      When you created the files for your website, did you back them up on different locations or directories on your hard drive? Or were all of the content and pages posted specifically online - with no saving on your behalf?

    Try and see if you cannot find a programmer on fiverr that can maybe help you fix the database?

    Some good programmers there that may be able to help out.

    Or even one of the other platforms such as freelancer, odesk, elance etc.

    Even though the hosting provider confirmed that database is corrupt, there is a good chance to get back most of your blog posts.

    Get a backup from the hosting provider, find the syntax of your posts and prepare documentation with the same structure(post titles, categories) and recreate the blog.

    Do not forget to block the search engine spiders while you are doing it.

    Once you are happy that the site structure and content is replaced, allow the spiders and submit your sitemap to search engines.

    You will back in business, with a few posts missing(hopefully).

    You can check fiverr.com where you will find many expert. Just send mail to them, they will tell you how to fix it.

    When the hosting company says "corrupt" what exactly do they mean? Has all the data been wiped? Have the tables been interfered with? Or has your site been hacked and hacker's just changed the username and password? If the latter, then it's an easy fix; if the tables have been interfered with, a programmer might be able to rebuild them; if the all the data has been wiped, you're stuffed!

    Log into Cpanel, do a database backup anyway and download it to your computer before the hosting company wipes it altogether. Then you can decide what to do next.

    If it needs a programmer, personally I'd look on elance.com, guru.com or freelancer rather than fiverr.
