I have just created one of these - just started doing the reviews etc, hoping to have around 50 or so 1,000 word reviews before christmas. I've got two so far. Clearly, not going to have much traffic or anything yet. But i've done all the SEO work and put some amazon affiliate links - does anyone else know if I should be doing anything else to get traffic at this stage?

is there any need to buy 100 visits a day from fivver or anything like that?

Ummm... You could try... you know... promoting it.

Slapping up content and waiting for search engines to send you traffic is a pretty good way to guarantee failure. Design your site for humans and promote your site to humans first and foremost. If you do this, search engine traffic will follow -- and even if it doesn't, it won't matter as you'll already have human traffic, which is the only kind that pays anyway.

As for how to promote your site... Well, you can start by browsing these forums. There are thousands of ideas (mailing lists, social media, and buying ads are a few of the big ones), but know that every niche, every business and every website is different. Your job is to sort through all the information (and scams) and figure out what's going to work for YOU.

    Good luck!

If you like wasting money, buying fivver visits is probably a great idea!

Adding to kilgore's points, a review site with 2 reviews is not likely to be a useful destination site anytime soon, so your early promotional efforts should probably focus on the specific content you have.

For example, you might reach out to bloggers or professional reviewers who have reviewed the same or similar products and engage with them. Look for compelling reasons they ought (1) link to your review or (2) modify their review to reference yours or (3) share your review with an email or social audience. Needless to say, this works best when your content legitimately covers things others have missed, takes a novel point of view, or is otherwise share-worthy.

For what is my knowledge, if you have already affiliate links inside make it harder to rank in Google.

Who build review website, or they work hard to promote the website and create a really great website, but generally it works on more topics, or they work indexing it with PBN network, but in these days the most of them have been de-indexed so Kilgore Advice to work with people I think is the best.

I wouldn't recommend Fiverr for things like this, you can get much cheaper and better visitors from sites like microworkers.

    Two words: content marketing.

It covers a multitude of sins. Writing a lot of quality content is great, but you need to invest at least half of your time, if not more, into getting the word out. I spend the best part of my day engaged in this alone and with one of my teams.

Fiverr is garbage traffic. Stay away from that unless you just like making your eyes bulge viewing fake stats! Work on building more quality in-depth reviews and finding places to connect with people interested in what you're reviewing.
