Those sites that start off with a video and have some dude keep saying "I'm about to.... in one minute... going to..." And they never say anything of substance. I can't stand them at all, and it boggles my mind why they don't just put a buy now button right under it. Do these actually work? It seems that the majority of CB products do this and I can't bring myself to sit through the entire thing. I can go on and on about why I don't like them, but I suppose they might be used for a reason.

All things being equal are these better or worse than video + cta? How about the giant wall of text format? I understand the presell is going to be a factor, but the internet is all about instant gratification, not listening to some random drivel on.
In my mind these are an instant no-go even if the product appears to be selling fairly well.
