Really I am not here to share with you a strategy because there are many different traffic generation strategies you can use. You have free marketing and paid marketing.

First understand the difference between both. Free traffic works and works well but it takes dedication and time to get visitors to your url's.

Paid traffic is much faster. You can have targeted traffic within a couple of hours going to your campaigns.

A tip for you is if you have a budget to use a paid strategy like PPC and test your headlines and conversions. Once you have something that is performing then take that and use it as a base for your free marketing. Good for testing keywords whether or not they are worth trying to rank for. I could go on for hours...

The solution to all your traffic worries!

Pick yourself a strategy whether its free or paid and learn it,

  1. Create yourself a couple of goals for this new traffic strategy
  2. Break your goals down into smaller size steps that you are going to have to take to reach your goals
  3. Break those smaller steps down into daily plans that you are going to do to achieve success.
When problems arrive and they do you need to not look at it as a problem but as a learning tool. Problems are there to instruct you not obstruct you.

Thats really the secret to it all is mindset.

Do that and just keep repeating the process but while learning and acting on new things and ideas and your success is practically guaranteed.

UPDATE: Well, let's see... One strategy that works well is right here in the forums. Every market online will have forums. Forums when used properly provides solutions and answers to peoples questions.

1.) Find two to three forums to start with. Research by simply going to google and typing in your niche plus the word "forum" or "bulletin board". Make sure the forum is active as well as they except signatures.

2.) Everyday contribute. Maybe hold out for the first few days or a week or so before you add your signature. Once you do you tend to get a higher response.

3.) Make sure to add your signature of course with a link back to your landing page. Play around and test your signature and you will find that some things get a better response than others.

Do this and be consistent you can easily generate signups and sales. The key at this point is compounding that sale by re-investing that money.

Social media in particular Facebook is a great free strategy. Nice thing about facebook is you can leverage your marketing efforts with friends and likes plus networking is a great way to find new opportunities online.

I have a friend on facebook who is in the real estate market and him and I are in the process of setting something up where if and when I refer someone who wants to sell either their property, home or business and the deal gets closed on I'll receive a finders fee. Great way to get out of the house and make some higher ticket sales.

That is for you to go out and learn. Thats one of the problems is everybody wants everything done for them.

If I picked social media and facebook you would have said something else or given me a reason why I should do something else.

There are dozens of ways to get traffic.

Get off the couch and use google and youtube and learn about a strategy and imply what I share rather than complain.

I agree with you, a little paid traffic to test the water, and free traffic for the long run.

    Nice post.

I would add pick a category of traffic source (blog post, PPC, youtube) then get a good course on the subject. Then build a plan to follow it.

    Cheers,

For me the secret has always been communicating with real people over a period of time. If the product is good and you are telling people about it that would be interested, they will start to buy it and tell their friends.

It's important to get a mix of traffic. Many PPC advertising is overpriced in my opinion, sometimes solo ads work better Great post though.

Well with a solo you average what around 35 cents per click or something like that. Setting my my ppc campaigns with my keywords targeted to my adgroup and I write my ads accordingly I can average anywhere from 5 cents to 17 cents per click. At this point if your landing page flows in your conversions for your opts ins are usally at least 50% and believe it or not but I have had 1 100% opt in rate one day. Something like 4 or 5 clicks on that adgroup but everyone opted in to my list. That was exciting.

I definitely agree with you that it's fast and a sudden rush and as long as you can hopefully generate a return or at least cover your cost on the front end who cares right. It's another strategy that you are successful with and can use.

On another note, Thank you CG
