Best SEO/Online Marketing eBooks?

Just today I ran across the PDF on Jim Cockrum's site entitled "Offline Gold
For Online Marketers - Lost Forum Thread."
Based on what I've been reading, it IS gold... That is similar to an idea I had a year ago, but hadn't fully thought through before pushing it out of my mind. In my area, there is SO much opportunity for something like this. Since I've been attempting to determine what my career path will be upon returning from my term teaching at a school outside the US, I am very interested in learning as much as I can about this.
Anyway, to my question: I don't have any marketing experience, but would like to learn about it. I realize that I can read online here on the forums and other places, but would like a concise, linear approach to learning it.
What eBook(s) would you recommend to a beginner looking to learn about this topic?
