Content Duplication in Blog!

I tried to search on the internet , hoping to get an answer to my question regarding content duplicition in blogspot.

I want to apply good seo in my newly created blog.

At homepage, I'm focusing to optimize the keyword "make money fast" , from the title , description, sidebar links, at etc.

What I'm feeling doubt is the contents I permanently put as widget below the blog post widget. Kindly look my blog for you to clearly understand what I mean: makemoneyfastatonline.blogspot.com

Does this approach will create content duplication in every new post? Please give me enlightenment.

    Hi mindrich,

    I'm not 100% sure which widget you are talking about, so I can't really answer that question, but...

    I don't think you should be going for something as competitive as "Make Money Fast" initially - there are over a million competitors (exact match) in Google which is going to make it very tough for you to get a page one listing. You are going to need a LOT of backlinks to rank well for this.

    You would be more likely to get traffic quickly by optimizing each individual blog post for a low competition phrase (by putting your keywords in the blog post title and 2-3 times within the post itself.

    I would also advise getting your own domain name so that you are in control rather than being at the mercy of Blogger, who could potentially shut down your blog at any point.

      I've just looked at your page, and it's got a nice layout. Your question is not very clear, but I think you might be using an RSS feed to create the content that is below the top blog post. If I've got that right, I would say there's no problem doing that, as long as you're not relying on just one feed for most of your content. You can use several RSS feeds covering the same subject area and create some useful variety; but you've got to consider if you're aiming this site at a real live audience or just using it to create backlinks. Obviously if you want people to read your site, stay on the page and click on the adverts, then it all needs to make sense - but it doesn't matter if the content has actually been fed from somewhere else. You don't get penalised for duplicate content - you'll just get better rankings with unique content!

    Suzanne has given you some great advice there - you shouldn't be worrying about anything at the moment except what top target. "make money fast" will be a VERY steep hill to climb.
