For the newbie...

Drew, I definitely think this type of video is needed for people.. who hear the concept of IM but have no clue how the internet works.

Very informative, and very understandable for people who are just starting out.

My hope is that people quit buying all the products others are selling that they end up throwing their hands up in the air because they just don't get it.

Great effort on the videos, but for me it was a little hard to follow.

A couple of observations

There were some noises in the background that were distracting
There were pauses where you seemed to be collecting your thoughts. As a result the video did not flow well
The text was difficult to read, consider making it bigger

Im hope Im not being too harsh. The Newbies defintely need ths kind of video, so I applaud your effort.

Yes I just started producing videos and getting them out there.

As time goes on I will be producing better videos with more information in them.

Its best to space information out in a series of videos so the person does not get overwhelmed.

Drew, thanks for your contributions to this forum. I get kind of annoyed when I see newbies get criticized for asking the same questions that 100 people before them asked. Most of the extreme newbies may not even know how to search the forum threads for the questions they have. It is never too soon to start contributing to the forum once a member can answer a question from a newbie. I haven't created any videos in my early IM career, but I may start doing this myself soon.

Great video for newbies! Looking forward to more. Also as a suggestion you might want to get a quieter keyboard.
P.S. - If any of the administrators are watching this thread I have an idea where you can have a folder where a thread like this could be posted into so newbies can get up to speed on a lot of things.

I am a visual learner, so I tend to teach visually.

Rather than putting out an ebook that raises tons of questions for people, I feel it is best to take them by the hand and get to the nitty gritty of things so they can get setup running their own show.

Once someone has the skills and put them into action, That is when the journey begins.

My goal with this video series is that I spark a fuse in the taking action department for other people.

A lot of times people just do not fully understand this business and need some one on one help.

Thanks so much for the videos to help newbies.I'm a newbie and getting everything in your head on how to really make money is not easy. We all work very hard to learn and try to get going but if you work in the wrong direction it just doesn't work.

I've been on this forum for much longer than my profile says and finally said it's time to give back.

So, there are a few things that I can do to be less boring, though when I want to really learn something and put my mind on it, I take alot of notes and replay the tape 500 times until I fully understand it.

The other kids in class hated me cause I was the kid that always asked all the stupid questions. "HEY, I'M TRYING TO LEARN SOMETHING HERE, F OFF." hahaha

Nothing like a little humor in the morning.

I got tons more but gotta get get back to the focus part.

I'm just pissed cause I didn't get my Michael Jackson memorial tickets. And I live 30 minutes from Staples Center.

I might have to use my evangelical wisdom to try to sneak in.

That's good you are providing some information for brand newbies.

My critique, if you are still looking for any, is that there are too many silences that make it a little disjointed and confusing. I think the video could probably be done in 5 minutes rather than ten but as someone else says, the more videos you make, the more efficient they will become. I watched soooo many videos when I first started and I found that going slowly definitely helps but with good links in the information.

Hey, this is really a novel idea, and people definitely learn better when they see and hear new info, and diagrams have more of an impact than words for most. I would say that 48 seconds of blank screen at the beginning would probably lose some viewers, and that if you practiced the script a bit, you could move it along more quickly and with more energy. I realize this is a demo for the forum--which means a practice--so I'm just letting you know how I see your work going to the next level.
