Say Yes to "Flogs" and Affiliate Marketing

I know that everyone has seen those fake blogs (Flogs) that seem to convert well because they're always appearing in PPC ads. As unethical as they are, you can't deny that the marketing seems to convert like crazy. Well, what if you could make money from them ethically?

I'm thinking of creating a "Flog" type of sales page but with real documented proof and testimonials.

My question is, as an affiliate, would you promote this type of sales page if you could get a commission on Clickbank directly from sending people to the page?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has done this but I'm going to test it out with some PPC ads to see if it works. What do you think?

  • Test it. If it works, hit us up!
  • If they're real testimonials, then I don't see why anyone shouldn't do this, and I guess it should convert just as well. Do test it and tell us your results!

  • Go ahead and test it. I am tired of flogs, most notably the ones like the mommy weight loss flogs that substitute your location and make you feel like you're reading about a neighbor.

  • I don't see a problem with the "blog/flog" concept. Isn't it just a testimonial/endorsement?

    But fake?

Don't TV ads do this too? How do we really know proactiv worked for P. Diddy or Jessica Simpson? What about those herpes commercials? Are they really using the medication or is it fake?

    • I believe that the FTC is going to go after people who lie and make unsubstantiated claims. I also believe that the competition will play a large part in who gets reported
