Need Product Recommendation

Fellow Warriors, I need some advice!

I have a handful of adsense sites that I want to be more profitable. I'm thinking of building a list and selling some products, but I haven't been able to find any decent offers. I tried promoting the top-most clickbank product related to auto auctions and I didn't make a single sale!

My sites are all related to auto auctions. Anyone know anyone who has some amazing product in that niche? Anyone want to put something together?

Any advice is GREATLY appreciated. These are solid sites getting a few thousands uniques every month, so I think I should be able to do better then $100 in adsense.

Thanks guys, much love.

    Matt,

What you're asking is exactly why it's important to research into the market in which you're going to be selling. You need to identify where the demand is for products or services.

Adsense is fine, but it's not going to make much money unless you get massive amounts of traffic. And that's not the norm for most small business marketers. Tiny niche sites are better suited toward selling specific and focused products or services.

There may not be any information products available that fit your chosen market audience. Again, another reason to do market research - before you position your business - so you'll know what is selling and where there are "holes" or opportunities for a new product to meet the demand.

I would suggest you spend a few hours online and get a feel for the desires of the audience you're trying to attract. Go where they go. See what discussions they're having. Watch and listen closely for things that are on peoples' minds, things that would be valuable to them in the market.

Remember, demand for a product is not something you create. The way to make money in this business is to tap into the demand that's already there. The demand may not be for an ebook. It might be for some kind of service, software, newsletter, meeting place (a community site), or other desire.

The very best to you in this endeavor.

    Steve

If you are looking to promote an auto affiliate program why don't you just search on google for auto auction affiliate?

Try some other products related to Auto niche in general, chances are very high that they would be interested. Amazon has a lot of related products as well. And then there are always CPA offers related to auto industry.

I'm thinking of building a list and selling some products,
Start building your list even if you don't have anything to promote to them yet.

Look at the Adsense that appears on your site. What are these ads offering? Find out what your competition is up to.

See if there is something related to your niche on amazon. You can promote that. It could even be a book in the Kindle store that is related to cars.

If you don't find anything you like, or you think you can do better... you might want to take a couple of days and write your own ebook and get it up on Amazon KDP. You can discuss various aspects relating to your niche. You can also include a link at the end to a landing page to build your list!

You, my friend, need to do some research into product creation. If you have a few sites that have over 1k visitors each than you must know what interests them in some way. What content gets the most views on your websites? What questions do your sites visitors ask? If you can't answer these questions than you need to start connecting to your audience, create some polls, dive into the analytics of your site, etc. Find out what they are really looking for when they visit your site.....and create the product for them. If you have done your market research (and your niche is viable), have a steady stream of quality traffic AND there are no high quality products out there then you are in one heck of a good place. This is where real money is made. Good Luck.

Thanks for all of the advise so far everyone.

I understand the value of doing the market research before I got into the niche, but this project wasn't set up like that. I had created the site to drive traffic to a product that some buddies were putting together. Suffice it to say that the product didn't work out, so I was left with a site with good traffic and nothing to sell

I'll start collecting emails, as I can't really see how I could go wrong there, and if I am able to put together some sort of info product, I'd have a good market to sell to if I can get my opt-in right.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

How about a how-to guide on making a fortune buying and selling cars at auctions? How about a tip sheet on how to bid effectively? How about an auction directory of sites that offer deeply discounted merchandise offered at government auctions? How about a how to make money buying and selling at auctions ebook.

I'd start with material on buying and selling cars at auction for profit and then branch into how-to stuff on government auctions, police auctions, distressed merchandise, import/export and a bunch of other entrepreneurial topics.

There's a huge market for this type of information and it will take some effort to put decent stuff together. Even so, it's not rocket science. Much of it you can find online and just assemble the info into guides and directories.

Lots of good advice about research but you might also consider how your site is designed and how you are trying to sell the product. Do you have it setup where folks are pointed to and encouraged to click? Links integrated into articles and other content. Example: If this is something you are interested on learning more about then check out....." If it is just randomly placed links with no build up or anything then it may not matter how good the end product is. Best of Luck!!

It could be the products, or that the way in which you marketed them needs improvement. It's worth evaluating both areas and looking for how to best move forward.
