What are your indispensable tools for IM?

I'm only asking about the specific sites, services, add-ons, etc.. for the purposes of IM (in general), that are more or less a MUST for conducting your day to day work and research. It would be awesome if we can get a few listed here for the newbies (myself included). Thanks in advance.

Also, if you can just add one sentence to describe it's function that would be very helpful.

    Tracking - regardless of the tracker you use, IMO this is one of my most valuable tools I cannot do without

    I would say it's Autoresponder too.

    The other is niche forums. I realized niche forums are where you get the sense of what your target audience want. Read their complaints, questions, doubts and fears and you will be able to create products tailored for them.

    The last one I would say is wordpress. You can't run an online business without a website and wordpress makes it easy for anyone to build a squeeze page, sales page, membership site from scratch.
