Hi Carol63, it depends on a lot of things. For one, is your name 'monetizable'? Is the site 'monetizable'? What exactly is the website about? What is your traffic stats?

If your site is not 'monetizable' but your traffic stats and say Alexa rank is good, then someone may be desirous of just buying your site for the domain and then forwarding the traffic to their desired URL.

These are just some questions customers looking to buy your site would need to have answers for.

Most importantly, is the site making money?
Alexa rank means diddly squat when it comes to perceived value...

the site makes a little money ie from book sales but I have not had much time to develop that side.

Well, maybe if you (Meaning your expertise) came with the sale ...
There are people with more experience on WF that may give a more accurate answer but i would say that the "sites" value could be measured in the tens of dollars...

You are the valuable asset and not the site as is....

If your site earns money, try not to sale your site but rent it. If you won't get succeed in your new business you may always return to the previous one.

Your website looks good. You have facebook page with more than 4000 likes. I think if you get a right price you should sell it.

Calculate how much money and time you have put in for the website and facebook page and it's marketing. Add that to monthly sales you are getting. That will be the right price or close to it. Flippa would be good place to sell. There is also website selling section here on warriorforum.

What about Facebook pages, do they sell?
8k fans, niched oriented (Batman page ). It's only month and a half old, haven't really monetized it yet.

Depend on the price you sell it. It seems a website that can monetize good, so consider to improve conversion before, so you can get more money also when you sell it.

Don't sell your name. Even if someone bought it, you have no idea what they're going to put on the site.
