Hey warriors,
I wanna build a new website for amazon affiliate products in a certain niche. I have decided to make it a review site for the products of that niche.
I need to know how to write genuine review articles? I dont wanna to copy any stuff or spinning or any of these silly methods which dont help with ranking in SERP.

The best reviews are those which you have actually used the product yourself. Giving a personal perspective on the product will help to get the reader to click the affiliate link and hopefully purchase it.

Provide much more information than can be found on the product page on Amazon.

If you haven't used the product yourself, it's wise to read up and gather as much information as possible, to give the reader as much info as possible.

Adding a relevant YouTube video really helps as well.

      Break it up into parts.

      What is the product?

      What does it do?

      Features of the product?

      Benefits of those features?

      Good points?

      Bad points?

      Customer opinion?

      Best Deals?

      Frequently bought together?

CALL TO ACTION < Important will get your CTR up.

Once you have answered those you should have a decent article.

      Hope that helps,

      All the best,

      Chris Jones

You're right not to want to copy or spin anything, of course.

I hope that your rejection of methods that don't help with ranking in the SERP's doesn't indicate that you intend your primary traffic-source to be search-engine traffic, because that would probably be a very poor direction in which to set out: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8659398

"Amazon affiliate marketing" is still "affiliate marketing", and the bottom line here, as in so many threads about Amazon, is that what actually makes people click on links and buy is the degree of trust and credibility they have in the strength of the recommendation offered by the person on whose link they click. This is absolutely fundamental, and is the reason why this thread may help you (as it's helped so many others here): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6608638

      .
Many thanks to all of you warriors. I have bookmarked your advice and will begin to go with them, and when I achieve my first $ I will come back to re-thank you again.

I've written thousands of reviews, both for myself, and for clients. I usually just have three sections. Product overview, bullet points of features and specs, summary of customer reviews.

I do talk about pros and cons and I also like to include a number of negative reviews on my sites too. People may not trust the guy who says every product is awesome. If a product has a 3 star review, I tell people it's not the best choice and I suggest one in the same price range with a 4.5 star review.

First of all, if you haven't already, do your keyword research. Go for the long-tails! With a little planning you can naturally incorporate lots of keywords into a single review. Don't be afraid to target lower competition keywords, as those can add up to a lot of visits.

Just make sure you use the keywords naturally, like in real conversation.

Personally, I like to write reviews from a personal perspective. It feels more personal to the reader. In my opinion, this works better and converts to more sales. Make it interesting and/or funny. It helps.

These are my opinions that work for me. You'll have to figure out what works best for you.

Please don't think I'm criticising for the sake of it, but it's a bad and inappropriate question, Cheaba. I say that because getting even a detailed and informative answer to it is very unlikely indeed to help you to make money, and there are reasons for that.

It's a question which arises for people who think of "traffic" as having something to do with Google. That's not a good approach for what you're trying to do.

Articles should have nothing to do with keywords. The only traffic "keyword-laden" articles are ever going to attract is search-engine traffic, and that's a mismatch for starting an affiliate marketing business, for the reasons explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8659398

There's a lot of good and very helpful information for you in this thread you started yesterday (which will get you much better oriented if you read through it all carefully!): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post9566530

For years (too many to admit to ) I've followed the guidance of 2 different Warriors for Amazon selling.
        • For unbeatable advice on writing good, in depth reviews, Erica Stone (User name: Sojourn) stands head and shoulders above everyone.
        • For selling methodology, Jan Roos is the best, hands down.
Follow these two people and you will quickly build a lucrative business for yourself.
