Starting from scratch!

Hey guys and gals, I have decided to venture back into internet marketing starting from scratch, I began my short lived journey in feb of this year and although I had some knowledge of affiliate marketing it was a HUGE learning curve for me.

After building a few sites and not really getting anywhere I was unfortunate (or stupid) enough to fall victim to a warrior forum scam artist who pretty much wiped me out financially and mentally, I got my money back in the end which was a big relief and after a few months of nothing but fear and disappointment over what happened I have decided to start a fresh.

I would really love to be able to build niche sites in the style of spencer haws, Jay Wessman etc but I have a really painful time searching for the right niche, and as I really don't want to mess up another site and waste too much of my time I could use a push in the right direction.

In the past I have dabbled with CPA, PPC but building profitable niche sites is ultimately my goal that I would love to succeed in. And given my circumstances the benefits of achieving this would be amazing.

I have a good idea of how I am going to do things but some advice from the right people will hopefully enable me to make the right choices instead of always making the wrong ones.

Thanks all! H

    Hey Crakeman89,

Instead of writing the usual WF novel in reply to this question, and telling you what you already know, I suggest instead that you ask some questions, specific ones. It seems that you have the right idea in general. I call these type of sites "authority sites." I suppose at this stage, and assuming you won't be outsourcing the content, I'd recommend choosing a niche that holds appeal. Best I can do with limited information.

Best advice I can give you is to stick what you do. It sounds that you already found what you want to do. Just search here on the forum about finding the right niche and you'll see that there are more than enough answers for you. Also get more information on authority sites and like I said don't get distracted with other things/ products/ methods. Just focus on building your sites.

Just one quick tip at the end. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and don't make yourself to depended to google .
