almost there. . . . one more question

I have done my keyword research and found two products on Clickbank that I feel like I can sell. I took the advice of several other Warriors and picked a topic that deals with people's personal pain, something that people are willing to spend money to alleviate. Now, can someone direct me to a good source on how to build a good sales page or squeeze page? I have never made one and do not know where to start.

Are you referring to the site design or traffic? What do you exactly mean by the sales page?

The basic of sales page creation are pretty easy. However it is not something that everyone can master. If you feel you are not good at creating sales letters or squeeze pages consider outsourcing this for a reasonable price. You can find plenty of people who will do a quality job and it should not cost you in arm and a leg, just a few days ago I seen a guy here offering sales letters for only two hundred in the wso section. So you definitely have options.

I would recommend that you invest in a HTML editor like Xsitepro and go through a very small learning curve and have the skills to then custom build any number of squeeze pages with ease...it's really not that hard.

Sure: Don't create a sales page.

That's what the sales page is for.

As an affiliate, you are to be a trusted third-party advisor.
NOT a salesman (or at least appear to be).

The minute your visitor detects that you are just trying
to sell them something to make money, they'll be weary
to go through your links and buy from you.

Start by providing GOOD CONTENT and not focusing on SELLING.

Let the sales page sell the product.

Sorry to keep asking so many questions, but are you suggesting I start a blog, post some comments on different forums with a link to the product, etc?

        No problem.

I suggest you give the internet GOOD INFORMATION (AKA "Content") on the keywords/topics you're going after FIRST.

There are a few ways of doing this. A blog, sure! That works because it's a way for you to post good information (Content) and not just links. An affiliate site with nothing but just links and no actual CONTENT is known as a "thin" affiliate site. You don't want to be one of those.

Think about it...what if you were watching TV and it was nothing but ad after ad after ad after ad for 2 hours straight with no actual TV show (content).

How long would you watch TV for if you knew it was nothing but just ads (affiliate links)?

Writing and posting articles to article directories (like Article Search Engine Directory: GoArticles.com) are another way to get content up about your topics. At the end of the article it points to your affiliate link (or website/blog with MORE good content which then points to your affiliate link).

Another way to post content is to just have your own actual website as well (cheap now days for a good site...about $50-$60/year - Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, and Dedicated Servers - Website Hosting w/ cPanel - HostGator) to have your content/articles up with your affiliate links "sprinkled in" throughout the text/content of your site.

Squidoo is another way to display information/content online for free (they give you a free website to put content up with your affiliate links).
