Advice Please!!!

I have recently completed my first eBook (yay). It is about selling eBooks on eBay using CDs. I gave it to some members and recieved some positive (and some negative) feedback.

After tweeking my eBook over the past couple of days, I now know it's ready.

However, although selling on eBay is not a problem for me. I have no clue how to sell it online.

I have:
No List
No contacts
No website
No Money

I need help with what I could do. Do you think I should go for a free site (freewebs), or would that make it look too cheap.

It is a small report retailing for £5 or $9

Any and all advice welcome

this forum is just loaded with answers to all your questions

the best advice to this is roll up your sleeves research the forum and do it, nothing beats with on the job training

getting into analysis paralysis does you nothing so dig in no one is going to hand it to you on a silver platter unless your prepared to pay for it

    Good luck

How about selling it on eBay

      Jus playin...

But you need to figure out a direction...

Obviously without any funds you are looking at exchanging time for money initially,

Do you have writing experience that could help you to write and submit articles?..

Get yourself a free blog from blogger.com..

How do you plan on processing payments and the sales?...

Hang around the forum for awhile and ask some specific quesitons about EXACTLY what you need to know..

      Peace

Sparrow- researching the forum is a great tip...the only problem with it is if you really don't know what to do...this place is the most daunting thing online

I agree that rolling up and moving forward is the key to success (I did it and I've been paralyzed too by this place at times). You have to do specific tasks to get specific results. However, to research how to do those things...you must know what they are.

Jay- specific questions are very important as well. For newbies though, they don't have a clue...it's SO daunting and when someone knows enough to ask questions like "What payment processor should I use" they are way closer and just need to do it...but what if you don't even know that you need a payment processor?

Maybe this forum isn't the best place to bridge that knowledge gap...but I think it is and it might be good to point to resource posts with that type of info.

        Just my thoughts,

        Brad Spencer

    Hi,

If you have a website where the ebook can be paid for and downloaded, why don't you write some short articles on the subject matter of your ebook.

Then search for "article directories" and create an account so you can post the articles with links back to your website.

This will be a start and only takes time - the more articles your post the more traffic you will create.

    Hope it helps,

So what your saying is, selling "How To make Money on Ebay with Ebooks" on Ebay, is not too profitable in itself- or even using any of your methods in your book? Are you using these method to make money?

I understand you want more ways to advertise, but if your methods do work and do make money how can you not have any money? Why don't you use your own methods to make you money?

This does not give me confidence in your e-book.
