Question for marketers succesfully making a living online

Ok I have a series of questions I'd like to ask those who are currently successfully making a living off of the internet. These questions revolve primarily around the mentality you had prior to becoming successful.

What I'm curious to know, is when you started we're you very anticipatory about your earnings? What I mean by this is, before you were making a consistent income, were you constantly checking your earnings by the day?

How did you feel and what did you think when you saw that you perhaps didn't make any sales, or any money for that matter, that day. Or how about a few days, a week or 2 maybe? Did you get stressed out and fret upon seeing no sales or money coming in? Or did you have a type of, "Happy-Go-Lucky" attitude about the whole matter?

In other words did you not fret, or worry, or anticipate earnings? Did you let things just roll along "naturally"? And if no money was made that day, or that week, or however long, did you say to yourself something along the lines of: "Oh, well! There's always tomorrow!" and simply leave it at that, without any worry or anticipation of making money in the future?

What I'm getting at is, if you didn't see any money coming in, were you able to adopt and hold a "positive" outlook for the future, or did you slump into a negative thought pattern about your lack of income in the present?

If you did perhaps slump into negative thought patterns, how did you get out of it, and after that did you start to see money come in?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Warriors

    Hi Mauls!

The only reason to fret or worry would be if you're pinning all your hopes on one thing. There should be no need to fret, or worry. Experiment with new things, with an experimental mind - without any grand expectations. The problem with expectations is that they set you up for disappointment. Make a good effort with something and see if it works. When you find something that works for you, run with it.

Rather than being disappointed, you just learn: "Hmm, I'm surprised that didn't work too well. Is there something extra I need to do? Something I need to do differently? Should I take another look at what others are doing? Or is it best just to move on?"

There are so many opportunities nowadays. Different things work for different people. Go into the whole IM 'thing' with a sense of adventure and exploration, knowing that something out there is your thing. Columbus wasn't expecting to find a grand new continent. He just had a sense of adventure and exploration, and he went looking.

I know there's something out there that'll be a fit for YOU. Do different stuff until you find it. Be open to opportunity (I made a little post about that here, post #36: http://www.warriorforum.com/mind-warriors-success-power-self-improvement/92102-why-95-people-fail-online.html).

Good luck. And enjoy the process!
