Perseverance is really the key to success. Without perseverance you will never achieve your goal. You need drive and determination and a reason why to succeed! You don't have to be the most skilled, the smartest, the most anything, you just gotta be willing to do the work and never give up if you want to be successful in anything in life! Remember the tortoise and the hare? The hare had everything he could want, he could run fast, he was full of energy he had a lot of advantages vs the tortoise, but he quickly burned himself out in the end! Ultimately the tortoise survived and won! The moral of my story is to just keep going no matter what! Some days you might just not be feeling it, but taking 2 steps forward each day is a hell of a lot better than taking no steps forward each day!

Perseverance comes from a burning desire. Motivation comes comes from desire, without a burning desire your perseverance will fade away. Even the Buddha had a burning desire despite his preaching that desire keeps you in bondage.

In the fable... the hare didn't burn himself out. He knew he was fast and could run circles around the tortoise. But that made him over confident, arrogant, lazy and undisciplined. Kinda like much of America is today.

If you want to get a clearer picture of this check out Matt Furey's Theater of The Mind He has it on sell right now for $97.00 But if you are a member of Audible.com you can purchase the audio version of the book for a $14.95 credit.
