How To Pick a Killer Niche To Make Money From

Why are so many people stuck on "What niche to get into?" Rather than "what business model to get into?"

I mean, you have TONS of ways to monetize sites and everyone is stuck on what niche to get into....

Why not think... "What would I enjoy doing, or what am I passionate about...?"

Think about HOW you want to make money online....

Is it: Multiple niche sites, a couple authority sites (for those who have a passion about a certain niche and would go on for years in that topic without being burned out)...

Product creation, affiliate marketing, adsence, curation sites.....

When I first started out I wanted to get into IM, I wanted to teach how to make money online...but didn't even know how to do it.

It was the same 'tale' back in 2009, 2010 when the scammy ole product launches (course creators) who didn't know shit about marketing selling the same ole pipe-dream to hopless newbies who don't even know what, where, or how to start.

I guess, it's still the same today lol....

My advice to newbies, Start something that you do best.

Something that you are, or CAN be passionate about. And if you're new to a passion that you don't know much about (LEARN about it, become an expert, become SMARTER), then offer your solutions, fill a void by questioning a market.... THEN create a product to sell and market.

Just my 2 cents, could be longer but don't want to get too crazy right now lol...

    I think one of the major stumbling blocks people run into regarding picking a niche is this. Most people "don't think" they can make money from their passion.
    • They don't think they know enough.
    • They can't see themselves competing with established companies or experts in their market.
    • They think the market where their passion lies is saturated.
    • They don't know how to market their passion or skills.
    • They don't have any examples of people making money with the passion they enjoy.
    Result? They overlook, discount or shoo the thought away, without researching, getting expert advice or even reading the many books or articles available.

    So, most bounce from one business, program, or marketing method to the next, based solely on the money they "think" can be made. A vicious cycle.

    The information overload, multitude of ideas and lack of confidence through lack of experience to follow up on these ideas can be daunting when you let that tiny amount of anxiety to the surface. I'm brainstorming ideas to write about in my chosen niche at the moment and it can appear terribly overwhelming when, as you mentioned, the competition is so immense.

    Find a niche that you enjoy if you enjoy fitness go to fitness niche.

    if you enjoy talking about money , join a money niche.

    if you like weight loss, pick a weight loss niche.

    Pick a niche with pain in it, that demands solution ex: Quit Smoking

    Than educate your niche on how you can help them and provide solutions to them.

    Honestly, I think it's because so many info products talk about how you have to pick a great niche first... and then even though there's so much more to it that that, most people fall off the boat at that point in the training and never really go any further.

    Plus when you're first stating out in IM, everything is so confusing and overwhelming. Most people don't have the confidence to make a decision that they're told by the info products right off the bat is the biggest decision they'll have to make. All that weight placed on the decision by most programs just makes it seem so much more important than the actual mechanism of making money.
