Paid or donation based life coaching service?

Hi!

We are a couple of life coaches who got together to make a site about happiness and real fulfilled success.
We´re thinking of doing a step by step monthly guide which touches each one of these topics:
  • Self: image, esteem, respect
  • Self: discipline, control, confidence
  • Fears, insecurities and obstacles
  • Happiness and success
  • Find your: passion, purpose, meaning
  • Desires, goals, dreams


Our concern is if we should have a set price for it, $90/month, or if it should be based on donation?
Our belief is that everyone should have the right/possibility to this information disregarding financial situation, but we also know that people value things that they pay for much more, and they take it much more serious then if it where "free".

    if you want to give the information away for free ..give it away for free ..but if people want to interact with you and ask you questions ..have a system that they need to be members of a site to do so..then answer those question in an open answer to the community ...if people wanr direct consultation.. then charge money accordingly ..

    1. Yeah, we would love to offer it completely "free"/donation based if people would donate enough to cover over time and expenses. Unfortunately we have no idea of how people generally perceive donations.

    2. We want people to be committed, engaged and to follow through. The question is if they are as engaged if its given for free, compared to something that they have invested money into?

    take donations out of the equasion..are you poor or are you a charity .

    are you committed enough to it to develop a product ..people will spend money on..not just once but monthly ..and if you leave it up to generosity ..

    now the risk is you are just parroting a bunch of information already out there..which would make it hard for you toi charge for it,,

    so you can give away articles and information with your take on popular subjects and what you have studied and how it worked .. i mean a lot in the spiritual/life coaching community do the interview thing interviewing people who already have books and audiences ..

    and by doing this you can develop an audience for you and your business partner and from that audience who consumes you free stuff ..get coaching clints who pay you ..
