What motivates you to be successful

at IM?

even if you're not yet successful, what drives to you keep working toward making an earning of IM?

for me, I am a broke college student that wants to earn some income just so that I can have some money to spend on tuition and also help out my broke parents who are almost close to retiring without any saving.

Im my motivation. It me. Yes it may be a little self centered but I'm the one that have to live my life.

I raised my standards on life and what I find acceptable. And I absolutely not will accept a life of being broke.

If you look at my join date you would know how long I have been doing IM. Its the same passion that drives me everyday. But you need the right mindset to do the things that I do. I see lots of newcomers just go straight to the specifics of making money without any mindset and failed. So what I follow is this. Find a niche like IM, focus on just one thing that works for you. Stop procrastinating.Focus and Just Do It.

Putting yourself first is the best motivation in this case.

One thing that really motivates me, being self-employed, is feeling like I'm running across a bridge that's on fire.

To me there are couples things. To have a better financial life, To have control to do what I like to do (sth I can't do on my 9-5 job), To challenge myself.

To have freedom to do what I want and not having to answer to a boss. Instead I have people who answer to me. I work more hours but I work when I want, and how I want.

It is for my future family. I would love to be able to provide them the things which I wasn't able to have when I was growing up.

A big inspiring vision of how I imagine my life to be.

Then I break that down into a huge series of very small inspired daily actions.

Then I do those actions every day.

I don't need motivation at all! With small inspired daily action its soooo easy!

Very true! One of the biggest challenges is taking it one step at a time...

For me, it's helping as many people out as I can while earning the best living for my family. It's also about FREEDOM. I like the idea of doing what I want whenever I want to.

I've always been inspired by the poem, "The Road Not Taken," by Robert Frost.

Family. Future Family. To be able to something for people that are important to you but maybe they are struggling emotionally and financially. To be at a pedestal where you can actually put your hands in your pocket and help rather than just talk.

I come from a family which was struck by civil war (Bosnia), fugitive lifestyle, poverty, and many other different hardships. We never gave up, even when there was time that we couldn't afford bread for a few days, we made it trough and prospered with the time.

My business life was also not pretty lucky in the past, bad decisions, to much risk, bad partners, I went trough it, and started from square 1 if necessary.

What drove me is the knowledge that I can do more, that I deserve to be more than I am, and that the only obstacle is lack of experience, or lack of motivation during good times to make them better.

What drives me now is a feeling that it is the right time, I have a vast amount of knowledge in different sectors, I am old and mature enough, I have a child to whom I owe to live a better life (4 months old son) and a wife which endured me during my worst times (Burnout syndrome for 3 years), and I am motivated to make "it" happen more then ever before.

So, fingers crossed for all of you, hope you feel the fire too
