Importance of Focus

When making money online it is easy to get side tracked.

There are so many different products on the market, and new products being released everyday.

it is easy to get side tracked, into a completely different home business than the one you started in the first place.

alot of new people make this mistake, actually almost everyone who is first starting out with online business suffers from lack of focus.

First decide how you are going to make money online.

Then stick with it.

Always keep in mind what you want. Picture yourself already having accomplised your goals.

stay on tack untill you have created 1 full steady stream of income untill you start your second.

you will never succeed if you only begin projects.

you have to finish projects to see results.

    Eben Pagan says the #1 priority these days is "eliminating distraction". I sorta brushed it off at first until I started thinking about it.

    If you truly always avoided distraction you'd always be focused on your goal. You'd be very rich and very happy if we just could avoid distractions from our goals.

    Of course we need to make sure our goals include things like spending time with our family too!

      You know, it's amazing but my focus has improved dramatically in the last month. I attribute it to going on vacation!

      I was able to relax at the beach with my family and it cleared my head. While I was there I realized that I'm the only one holding me back, so I've got to put all my efforts into my business to produce results.

      I'm not perfect, but I'm a heck of a lot more focused after stepping back for a few days.

    Too true and great post. Its easy to start building sites one after the other and to listen to every crazy idea out there but until one stops and concentrates and makes just one work then all efforts may be in vain.

    Totally agree with Fred's thought that focus and determination=success.
    What I feel is , its very important to focus and concentrate on your work rather than just to start up anything new. You need to work on it with full dedication for its growth.

    Couldn't agree more.

    So many ppl talk about the "next big thing",..twitter, pinterest, facebook, etc.

    It's hard, but block it all out and just focus on one thing. Then when you've become competent in that, move to another thing.

    Hard to do, I know. But this is why I deleted facebook. Guess what? The world still goes on without facebook! Would you believe it!?!?!

    This is absolutely spot on. And the irony? One of the greatest causes of lack of focus is Shiny Object Syndrome of which Warrior Forum is one of the main suppliers!

      I had to learn early on not to fall for the newest WSO's that came out. Those were a death trap for my time since I would eagerly follow them just to juggle the next few that were released. I did actually make some money, but many of the methods sort of dissipated away as different systems grew stricter.

      Now that my focus is on SEO, and a very specific aspect of it at that, my income has exponentially grown compared to how I started out. I have more or less mastered my element so that money now comes to me freely enough that I can spend my leisure time actually doing leisure things. And all that comes from focusing. Never give up.
