Starting Over Motivation

I've been away for all too long. And I forgot all how motivating this place can be. I used to love this section of the forums because there were so many people trying to keep each other motivated and it was inspiring. My start ups I tried back then failed, but I have kept on keeping on and trying to learn from my mistakes. It feels good to be back.

I just want to make a brief post to any newer people that would be in the same boat as me, that really don't have any clue what they're doing but have a lot of passion and desire to make money. Keep at it. The only person that can let you fail is you. Ultimately, the failures I made are only things that didn't work, and put me one step closer to something that will work. Some things I have learned along the way and some things are still yet to be learned. But one thing I can say is, I will never quit. Because when you quit, you never achieve anything.

My new start up will be more focused and goal oriented. I've gotten myself a new start and also have finally realized I need to invest a little more money into educating myself before sinking it straight into a website! I devote at least two hours every day to taking in as much free information as I can and I relay my information to others that I hope to keep motivated. If there is one thing I like to do it's help people and show them ways to stay positive. Keeping a positive mind-set is key in everything you do. I've made mistakes before and I've not been positive all the time, but I try my hardest. Make a list of your goals, and break them down one step at a time. If you stare at the forest for too long, it will overwhelm you. Pick out a couple trees at a time and start whackin'.

So, this post is mostly to other people that are trying to get started in whatever field of making money they chose. Stay motivated, focused, and positive. Don't lose site of your goals and why you came here. I hope this can help you realize you're not alone if you are out there getting started. There are plenty of people trying. What makes the difference is perseverance. Keep on keepin' on! And take in every bit of knowledge you can that you run across... I keep a huge folder full of copy and pastes of valuable information I find that I want to note. This forum is full of valuable info and I missed it so much!! I think it's about time to finally join the war room and get serious about learning.

    Hi C,

All the best with your new startup!

Ditto on the visits; I came back yesterday after spending much time on the main marketing forum.

Turns out, although it's helpful to assist those cats many newbies over there have a greedy, desperate mindset, and would be better served hanging here for a bit.

My skills are best used here, too.

I enjoy posting on the main, and will do so, but feel this forum is a more enjoyable spot for me to spend my time.

    Thanks for the inspiration!

    Tweeting from Bali.

    Hello,

i have cut back my posting here and on many other forums . as far as the success forums here which are some of the best .

Personally i have identified a lifestyle i want to live ..and i am looking for ways to earn money to support that lifestyle .. no Im will be part of what i do but not the main thing..i will produce real things and use im an social media to conect with customers and sell my stuff .

anyway the major problem i have is that many people here are just about the making money part..and think the only way to be is spending every waking moment trying to get rich ..while seemingly ignoring the lifestyle part ..

then they take this view and have a condescending view of the vast majority ..oh hell probably 99.5 percent of people who don't dedicate their lives to becoming rich ..

success is a personal thing ..and there is a vast strech of time that most people who become successful look like they are not that successful ...for most it could be 5-10 years .

does im fit into the lifestyle you want.. in ryans case he is living the life that only an im business can allow .. but when you break away ..from the the common success model.. you have to accept that it is up to you to define and achieve what is success to you .

Indeed this section of the forum is full of people who share inspiring stories and experiences that can keep us motivated to pursue whatever business we want to pursue. Earning a living online can be tough but sometimes all we need is a tap in the back or kind words to keep us going. With helpful members that willingly share opinions, tips and other random life wisdom, the load get easier to bear.

Its like I say to myself sometimes, the blood and sweat you give to your labor will come back to you in the form of green!
Sometimes burnout is a major motivation killer, I think patience is what can save newbies on their venture into this limitless virtual world!

    Patience is a virtue.

That is what I tell myself all the time and the older I've gotten (as well as mature) I realize more than ever how important being patient is. I am now building myself slowly with a foundation and a plan. My passion for this keeps me going and I try to keep myself motivated daily even if it's making simple little posts saying how things are going.

I've made a progress blog and I keep it updated regularly with pretty much what I'm doing or I try to reach out to others to brainstorm with. It may not be much, but it's my method of keeping myself going and keeping the gears turning upstairs. I've got a niche that I have pretty much been passionate about for a long time that I am trying to write about and build my new site around. I feel like the progress blog is a great way to keep yourself going if you are the type that finds yourself with nothing to do, or have a hard time staying focused. It makes you think to update something everyday, or spend time with something every day.

May not be for everyone, but it's definitely helped me so far! Keep on keepin' on, warriors!
