I'm sitting on my porch, sipping on a glass of wine, and I thought, "What better time to write some epic s%*# than now?" Okay, maybe it won't be epic, but I hope that something of value comes from it.

WHAT'S YOUR VISION?

By "vision", I mean, what's your "why"? Why in the heck are you spending all your time learning about traffic generation methods, list building strategies, or SEO? Are you doing it for fame? Money? Freedom? Do you have a family to feed? Do you want to travel more? No sane person would spend all their free time learning this stuff "just because".

Once you've discovered your "why", then ask yourself, "Is this 'why' really strong enough to motivate me on a daily basis". For a lot of people, it won't be. Some people are stuck in what I like to call "the mid zone". They're situations aren't really bad, but they're not great either. In short, they're "comfortable".

But comfort is the enemy of greatness. After all, why change what's working? As humans, we aren't really hardwired to invest more energy than we need to to stay alive. If a $30,000 a year salary is enough to keep us afloat, then that's all we'll strive for.

But when you have NOTHING, when you're back is AGAINST THE WALL, that's when you become HUNGRY. How many of us are really hungry for success? Likewise, how many of us just "kinda want it"? The "just kinda want it" group doesn't have a defined vision of what they want. To them, making $100 here, and $100 there, is good enough.

Those with a strong vision, however, know EXACTLY what they want. Do you want to make $10,000 per month online? Okay, great. Now what are you willing to do to get there? Are you willing to invest in courses, learn new things, and type on your computer until your fingers fall off? What are you willing to give to make this happen? For me personally, I'd rather die than not achieve something.

Got a family? Got a 9-to-5 job that's stressing you out like crazy? That's FINE. You can STILL do this. But you've got to really give it everything you've got. Will it be easy? Heck no! But is that what you really want? For it to be EASY? Easiness does not breed growth. If everything was easy, you'd still be the same person you were 5, 10, or 20 years ago.

Let it sound a little hardcore, but learn to tap into your PRIMAL instinct. In your head, make this journey one of life or death. Take it THAT seriously. If you do that, I promise that you cannot fail. Stop "tip toeing" through this process and jump in head first. Make mistakes. Get your feet wet

Anyway, it's a nice night...I'm going for a walk
