Here's Where to Place Your Focus When Starting Out

when you are first starting in online business it's easy to get lost in a sea of info, it' easy to get confused feel overwhelmed and not really no what direction to take.

Hopefully this will help you get on the right track.

First focus on how you'll make money...

Find something that resonates with your personality type.

You may just want to promote others offers as an affiliate

Or maybe create your own product or service

Maybe create t-shirts do CPA or it may be something completely different.

Explore the different models and see which one fits you best.

Second: Find someone who is doing what you decided successfully that has a coaching or training program. Select your chosen mentor carefully. Follow and study the material very close, and realize when you are first starting you will make some mistakes.

The difference between those who reach their goals and those who do not, is the successful ones understand there will be some challenges that need to be worked through.

3rd: Close your eyes to other opportunities

You really want to put the blinders on. There will always be a temptation to jump on the next big thing. Something will come along that sounds really good that you consider.

Make sure that you really put forth a good effort on what you're working on before you decide to switch.. If you jump from thing to thing, you'll never end up doing much other than becoming an opportunity junkie.

Hope this brings some clarity for you today as you work towards your dreams.

having an 'ideas list' on my Google drive helps with the scatter brained behavior.

keep it on my bookmarks bar so I can get to it quickly. put the idea in and 'get back to it later'.

close the tab, and get onto what I was doing. I usually don't get back to it.

Quite solid advice, good piece of writing.

At the end of the day, if you just stick with it and learn from your mistakes, then sooner or later your time will come

    Well said Nick.

This is one of those posts that I wish I would've seen years ago when I was suffering from shiny object syndrome.

  • This is an excellent post and one which I hope every newbie sees. Too often newbies try to follow ome crazy loophole idea that is on the market, instead of focusing on what they are good at themselves,

You summed up everything very well.
