So you are thinking of going back to your Day Jobs?

I wanna throw up this question to see how many of us are feeling the need to go back to a 9 to 5 job ?
For sure for many warriors the going is becoming tough ! I have been feeling it lately.
So did this thought come across your mind lately???

My old job was in a kitchen, and i vowed never to work like that again.

If the 9 - 5 grind is calling, then decide if meeting that call is right for you.

For some of us going through the incredible pains of making this online stuff work is worth the effort.

Many on this forum would be better off in jobs that suit their talents rather than working online since it takes enormous amounts of dedication and discipline to work for yourself.

The only person who can really decide which path is correct is you.

I worked a regular job alongside online work for a long time before making the leap.
There's no shame in returning to a 9-5 for the meantime if times are tough, you aren't as successful as planned, and you need to pay bills.

it can take a long time to see results online, especially if you rely on organic traffic.

I'm finding a summer slowdown on eBay and ecommerce website but that's because of the items I sell and the fact that people I target would rather be out in the sun than sitting at the computer buying my stuff!

I can't handle a regular job anymore, due to health issues. So I have been fortunate enough to have a good writing/edition/proofreading business that, when combined with my disability pension, enables me to live and pay bills, etc. Never a 9-5 for me again. I work when I want to and it doesn't matter if it's night, day, weekend, or 3am. I do it when I want.

    Cheers, Laurence. Writer/Editor/Proofreader.

Personally I would NEVER even think of going back to that grind again, and fortunately so far, I haven't had to go back either.. I will just suffocate and die if I go back to that life again! lol

I'm thinking of going back to that 9-5 job lately so I always search online for vacancy. One friend recommended this site just in case I decided to look for a job so I kept browsing the website since two days ago.
I've been working online for two years now, I need to freshen my mind a bit and probably change my environment.

Applying for jobs now. I'm a web developer and fancy making big money while the job market is good.

Thanks to my prior success in IM, I am now semi-retired. I've only worked half of the last 3 years, the rest of the time I've spent travelling.

Remember to keep up the self-development. While travelling I did some courses to keep my future earning prospects healthy.

It really depends on what type of online business or home business you are in. Some online/home businesses are not automated but a camouflaged job. An online/home business camouflaged job requires your precious time and will pay you almost an hourly wage or pay per project just like a traditional 9-5 job. This can be the reason why many online entrepreneurs seek the comfort of going back to 9-5 jobs. However, many online business are fully automated i.e. you'll get paid even if you're on holiday, sleeping or dating. Internet marketers with automated business don't even dare thinking a 9-5 job.
