What do we need to believe in order to be successful?

You need to believe in yourself and in your product (whatever that is even if its your skills). One of the problems with IM now is that people spend all their time believing in the sales process and the money and don't care how crappy their product is.

Strive hard and always believe in God and to your self.........

I believe that belief in yourself is essential, if you don't believe in yourself your performance will show from it.

This is an excellent topic. I've learned a lot the hard way about this.

I think the #1 important belief is in your self and in several ways. First,
to believe in your ability to succeed. Second, the belief that you deserve
to be successful; you deserve all the good things that come with success,
not only in business but in any other areas of life.

If you do not believe that you deserve it, then you'll only sabotage your own
efforts.

The important thing you should do something about it and always believe in your self and in GOD.

May I take a slightly different approach?

You need to start from the position that you
already ARE successful, not that you will be.

Start from the positive "I have" or "I am"
or "I own"... it's more powerful rather than
saying 'I will'

We each give off energy at 50,000 cells
per second, so if we give off more positive
energy we will be rewarded with that energy
back to us.

When you adopt this approach, the universe
will certainly reward you well - try it!

believe in god.important one is believe in yourself because u can do it.

believe in yourself and believe in our God are important to be success.

Anything is possible when you beleive in yourself and nontemplates is right, always give out more value than the price of the product, there's far too much garbage been floated about, by helping people and creating valuable content the money naturally comes in.

You have to believe that you are capable and and willing to use the resources that are out there to help you succeed. If you believe you can do it all on your own with out any outside help or guidance, you'll probably come up against some very difficult challenges.

for me in on what I believe in in order to become successful is first of all always pray to God in the morning each day when you wake up to give you strength in order to achieve the difficult challenges that you will be facing each day. Reflect and meditate on what you will do each day. And lastly believe in your self that you can do it and you will personally see yourself very successful.

That you can accomplish whatever you desire and that you deserve to have it.

I just got out of a 5 day workshop that dealt with succeeding in life...there are lots of things you need to do in order to be successful.. first you have to keep moving forward..always! and when you encounter obstacles then find a way around them..or over them!..never give up!..keep pushing yourself further and further.. you need to be committed and write down all your goals and follow through..okay that is just a small list but those are probably the most important!.. if you believe it..you can achieve it! go for it! -Mike Linley

Just find a problem that needs a solution, and then solve it, and then charge for it.

Setting goals and believing in yourself helps in achieving success. Effort and perseverance are also good formulas for success.

I find it very effective to believe--not just believe--but visualize in sensory detail your desired outcome as already achieved.

In order to have success you need to be focused.Yes,of course you need to believe in yourself ...but also it's very important to know what you want in life.

Believe that you will succeed in the end. I think if you truly and dearly believe that you are going to make it then you willl.

Your life is a hologram. You need to see what you want. If you see anything it WILL happen. SEE it, make it happen. It is science.

There are many things that we need to be come successful. I see alot of people in general putting alot of emphasis on "Why". Why is important yes, But You should also focus on HOW! It goes back to who/What/when/where/why/how. Ill go into greater detail

Who: Who are you doing this for?
What: What are you going to do to make it happen? What do you really want out of it?
When: When are you going to start? If your answer is next week, Your probably not going to get it done.
Where: Where do you need to be to make things happen for you? It could be at home, Work, Supermarket whatever...
Why: Why do you want to be come successful at this? A good why makes the difference between success and failure however, it fails if you dont have the....
How: How are you going to make this happen? What knowledge do you have to have in order to make this dream of yours come true?

Thats personally what i did for myself and it has helped me more than simply having a "why"

i think we need to believe that "nothing is impossible". Because when we adopt that belief, the possibilities in life are endless.

i believe that success has a step by step process. Meaning you can't be successful by just a blink of an eye. It's a step by step process where in you need to believe on yourself and work hard in order to reach your goal. Once you reached your goal it would be more fulfilling when you know that you overcome all the hardships that blocks your way before reaching that goal.

For me, we need to believe that we are destined to be successful. So no matter what we will strive hard to achieve it.

Hello My friends, reading through all the contributions thus far, one important ingredient keeps showing up and that is the BELIEF IN YOURSELF. This is critical to your success in any enterprise, that you have to believe in yourself and capabilities. You almost will not succeed if you do not believe in yourself and no one will believe in you for that matter. Get to work and start building your belief muscles.

Another aspect of being successful, I suppose, is having great people around you. Someone more qualified has said that you're the sum total of the 5 people you spend the most time with. Socially, I would say that's true.

And, while I kind of like the bull-doggedness of being independent and not caring what people think (those who don't believe in my vision for the future) I'm just about old enough to makes things easier by surrounding myself with wonderful, positive, and happy people.

So to answer the original question, I would say that it's important to understand the significance of the relationships that you cultivate. And, if someone is holding you back from realizing your dreams or ambitions then maybe it's time you had a heart-to-heart.

Ones definition of Success differs from another but the ingredients required to achieve success is "Desire, dedication and discipline". I feel Discipline is the most important factor that will determine the rate of success. Thanks

Most people seem to agree that you must believe in yourself to succeed. But if you're not actually demonstrably achieving sucess, is the really important part of your mind that's always there in the background going to believe you when you tell yourself that you're already sucessful and that you deserve to succeed? To quote a couple of proverbs which I genuinely believe in from personal experience:
"Actions speak louder than words" and "Nothing succeeds like success". To me, these two together mean that you've got to cut down on the philosophy and get on with the job. When you start getting minor results, your enthusiasm and energy soars so you get more results, so your enthusiasm and energy soars etc etc. Before long you've created your own 'success process' and then ALL of your mind believes that you're a success and that you deserve everything you're getting! Consequently, you achieve even greater success which you genuinely deserve because of your efforts and self-belief.

We can break down what we need to believe even further:

To believe that we can manage the process of change, we need to believe:

- we have the ability to manage the process of change
- we have the resources, or can get the resources to manage the process of change
(those resources may be physical, intellectual, emotional or spiritual)
- we have the capacity to take the required actions to manage the process of change

To believe that the new condition or circumstance that we seek can be reached using the change management we employ:

- we need to believe in our own talents an abilities
- we need to believe that where our own talents and abilities are insufficient that sufficient talent and abilities will be provided through our own development or from elsewhere
- we need to believe in the possibility of change in the direction we seek.

To believe that the new condition or circumstance that we seek is worth the effort of managing the process of change.

- we need to believe that we can feel life's positive emotions (such as love, joy, excitement, thrill, contentment, amusement, peace and many others). These are our real rewards for achievement and success.

If I have to summarize in one word, it would be - yourself.
There is no success if you do not believe in yourself.
Of course, there are many other factors required for success (acting upon determined plan, persistence, continuous learning/development, etc.), but since we are talking what one needs to believe in, answer is definitely: You need to believe in yourself.

Believe in yourself and that you will make your goals happen.
