5 Reason Why You're Struggling To Make Money Online

Now I know a lot of you are struggling with your online business...TRUST me I know I use to be right in your shoes.

I was jumping around from METHOD TO METHOD until I started to WATCH what the TOP GUYS were doing. Then I started to EMULATE them!

Once I HAD the RIGHT blueprint...I found it easier and easier to make money with my online business.

In this post I am going to break down the 5 Reasons Why You're PROBABLY Struggling to Making Money With Your Online Business.

Reason #1
Not Identifying The Right Audience

This is probably the BIGGEST mistake people make with their online business. They have NO idea who they are trying to sell to.

You have your product, service or online course, BUT NOBODY is buying. If you are suffering from this MOST likely you are either targeting the WRONG audience, your product isn't solving a SPECIFIC enough problem, or this is NO NEED all together from your product.

My suggestion is to START at ground zero and make sure there is an ACTUAL need for your product, then FIND out where your target audience hangs out and sit your PRODUCT right in front of them.

Reason #2
Not Leading With Value

Another BIG mistake I kept making when I started ONLINE was not leading with VALUE. If your game plan is to shove your PRODUCT down your audience throat without establishing RAPPORT or a RELATIONSHIP you are going to find yourself struggling and ready to WAVE the white flag!

My advice is to ALWAYS start with PROMOTING HELPFUL content first that solves a PARTICULAR problem in your industry. Then use things like retargeting to FOLLOW up with your visitors and CAPTURE their email.

This brings me to my next reason..

Not Building a List

We hear it ALL the time that the MONEY is in the LIST (or the relationship with your list). I heard it when I first STARTED my online career back in 2006 and you still hear the same thing being PREACHED headed into 2016.

If you were like me you said to yourself "Yea I'll Start To Build A List Once I Make Some Money". But TRUST me you are making a HUGE mistake by not starting to GROW your list TODAY!

All the TOP GUYS in this industry built their FORTUNES from having a LIST. Email list are Google Slap PROOF, Facebook Ads Disapproved PROOF, and whatever other CHALLENGES we marketers face with RELYING on other sources of traffic.

Reason #4
Not Selling Your Own Products

When I was struggling in my business this was another thing I NEGLECTED to do. My thought process was WHO am I to make a product? Why would anyone listen to me? I am not a GURU or EXPERT..

Here is the thing...you don't have to be any of those things in order to create your OWN product and be successful with it. All it takes is for YOU to know something the SOLVES a problem or issue for someone else.

Actually you don't even have to CREATE the product yourself. There are people in THIS very forum that will create a PRODUCT for you for a couple hundred bucks. Our JOB is to make sure there is a NEED for the product and that it actually solves our audience PROBLEMS.

We need to get into the Problem Solving Business!

Not INVESTING in PREDICTABLE Traffic

Now I made this MISTAKE for MOST of my online career. You see I was one of those GUYS who ONLY wanted FREE traffic. I use to spend countless hours SEO'n sites and trying to get them to rank in Google with NO guarantee I would actually make it to the first page or make MONEY.

And even when I did MANAGE to get some good rankings and traffic started to roll in after a few months. I was petrified everyday! I woke up FRANTICALLY every morning checking my rank tracker...PRAYING that there wasn't a NEW Google animal update that would DESTROY all my months of HARD WORK.

Now don't get me wrong I am sure SOME of you make a very good living with FREE traffic tactics and doing SEO (I use to be one of you). And I am not saying to completely IGNORE free traffic and SEO.

But what I am saying you should be INVESTING in your business and BUYING predictable traffic so that you can get predictable RESULTS. One of the most POWERFUL things you can do LEARN about your business is to KNOW the exact number it takes to acquire a new CUSTOMER. Once you have this information you can SCALE SCALE SCALE.

As Ryan Deiss says there is no such thing as a TRAFFIC problem. Traffic is a COMMODITY if you want more traffic just PAY for it. Once you have your business setup CORRECTLY to make MONEY your FOCUS should be driving ENDLESS amounts of TARGETED traffic.
