To become successful with a particular goal, FOCUS on that goal.

Think about it all the time.

Think about how it feels to achieve it.

Think about how your life will change.

And he's the most important part...

Trace the steps from where you are NOW to where you want to BE.

Focus on those steps.

Direct your actions towards them.

KNOCK OUT those steps.

When you ACT on these steps, you end up BECOMING what you set out to achieve.

    this is not true for most .. considering ..how many guys satart watch "interesting stuff done by naked people" as soon as they get access to the internet ,, and mosts never actually follow through ,,in fact to vivid a picture as you think about something may reduce the drive to actually get a think ..

    how many times have we got something we really wanted and been let down

    you have to believe something you are thinking about is possible for you ..to even attempt step 1 in getting it ,,

    and also the law of attraction also mentions letting it go to the universe once it has become vivid ..

    it is also good to have multiple related goals ..

    because when i want real tasty lasagna ..there is the time involved in getting the ingredient together just right..then cooking it ..and in extreme cases letting it cool the putting it in the fridge fore a day .. and then ..heat it just right ..and mmmmmmm yummy ..

    but you have to get your mind off it at many points or you can rush and mess stuff up..or you have that steaming hot first piece from the oven that false apart on the plate ..and may taste real good but has lost the potential for being so much better

      I don't think you fully understood what I wrote. Please read all of it and don't read in your preconception. The back tracing is especially helpful. What I posted works since that's what got me through college and post-graduate studies.

    The ability to think about and focus on your goals does help. Personally, I've gotten to a point where I've realized how important action is, and I don't even have time to think about stuff anymore because I'm always taking action.

    I start my day by writing down my goals, and then going through my checklist and my schedule, and I make sure I take the daily actions necessary to achieve my personal goals.

    Thinking is great, but the main focus should be on taking consistent daily action towards the achievement of your goals.

      yes once you have the destinations.. its taking the actions to get you closer ..

      even the law of attraction rarely will just plop you from where you are to where you want to be ..it will at least in my case drop the information on you on what to do next..or smack you in the back of the head and point you where you need to go ..

      then again..many time what we vizualize may not actually fit us ..if it is far out of who we are .. if you are visualizing a big mansion..but you don't really want to live in a big house ..

      how many people who are obese.. imagine that the only way to lose way and stay thin is to eat food that doesn't taste good ..when the french eat very tasty food ..and much better tasting bread..but smaller portions ..

    That's a fundamental principle, success already occurs at the start of our journey...not when we get the results but when we start to think, believe, act and feel as the one who already has achieved...that's when we attain success! The manifestation of our desired or intended result is the by product of who we become.
