Affiliate Marketing THE RIGHT WAY! INSIGHTS & GUIDE! Are You In The TOP 5%?

Hey warriors,


I have decided to do a detailed post about affiliate marketing to help newbies and maybe some seasoned veterans who make an income from affiliate marketing. But first lets start with something very important that most people online fail to do and in my opinion I believe this to be a very important foundation and step.


MINDSET!! People come online everyday looking for riches and more freedom. Well that awesome, work less hours and make more in one day than most people do in a month....but wait a minute this takes work??? YES earning money online takes work and a lot of it.


Most people are lazy (no offence) and most people want it handed to them on a plate. This is the wrong mindset. A right mindset would be having goals, having foundations and always looking to learn. Failure also needs to be something that a person needs to deal with in order to become successful!!


Lets move on.......


Being online for many years I have seen a lot of information, websites, forums, blogs etc talking about internet income and home based businesses, making money online etc. I want to just try and help and educate some people on the area of affiliate marketing so here goes...........


Being an affiliate marketer can be hard. Not only are there thousands of people online who become affiliate marketers, we are in one of the hardest and most competitive niche/markets online...THE MAKE MONEY ONLINE niche/market.



A lot of people try to become an affiliate in this area and for 90% of them, they don't make any money at all in this niche. Why is that? Well, unfortunately the make money online area has been filled with scams, hype and dis trust for many years...customers are very cautious.


However, there are a lot of affiliate marketers making a killing in this area, but what do they do different from the other 90%?? Well Ill get to that in the minute. But let's just look at markets for a second. As we all know there is health and wellness or making money online or self help or arts and entertainment (you get the point).
A lot of newbies make the mistake of becoming an affiliate marketer in this niche (MAKE MONEY ONLINE). The problem with this is potential customers nowadays are looking for proof of earnings (REAL ONES, NOT PHOTOSHOP LOL) for one...but most people have not made money so how can you teach people to make money?


I see a lot of this and above is just one reason why people end up failing. Newbies who want to do this type of marketing should start with different niches, find something that works etc and then come in this niche!!
Ok so back to why some people make a lot of money from affiliate marketing....lets start right from the beginning....


1) They find a mentor who is successful and established. They don't come onto forums and expect a hand out.


2) They have the right mindset right from the beginning and treat this like a REAL BUSINESS.


3) They are willing to spend money upfront and invest in their education...they don't see it as "a waste of money" or "oh my god why should I do that"


4) They realise and research tools and platforms they are going to need in order to run their business more effectively and efficiently...work smarter not harder remember guys.


5) They work consistently and the words GIVE UP are not in these people dictionaries. They see failure as a positive thought on how they can improve and fix their business.


6) They have a business plan/blueprint/funnel before they start. Most business and people fail because they don't have a plan. Would you go fishing in the mountains with only your lunch and a knife? No you plan to take your fishing gear, food, drinks, make sure your car has gas, have a cell phone for emergencies etc. You get the point. Planning is key!!!


7) THEY ARE UNIQUE!!!!!!!! Sadly most people come online and copy the masses so to speak. Successful affiliate marketers market with a unique selling point, they have unique landing pages, unique websites, content etc etc. They stand out and customers LOVE THIS!!!


8) They keep up with changes and trends. What's working in affiliate marketing now was not working 5 years ago. They adapt, they change and the reward is a boatload of money!!


Ok so some good points covered there!! I want to now look at why the top 5% of affiliates marketers make money online!!! I was also elaborate on some of the above points...lets start shall we!!!


FOUNDATION OF THEIR BUSINESS:-


With an online business you must start with good building blocks and foundations. Could you imagine building a house without foundations? People overlook this very simple thing & they are already setting themselves up for failure before they have even started.


Strong foundations will make an online business last years. Mind maps, budget goals, upfront initial investments, blueprint planning (everyone remember ryan diess napkin flow chart) These things and many more will form a solid foundation for a business and will definitely put you on the right track.


REALISATION AND UNDERSTANDING OF CUSTOMERS:-


This is key when anybody is looking to make money online. Most people market to their customers in totally the wrong way. It still amazes me how so many people still try and sell or market the product. Successful affiliate marketers sell the outcomes of the products and benefits. They move the customer from one state of emotion to another.


Mostly all customers and people online buy things from their emotions, feelings and thoughts. Obviously this is a very in-depth subject, but this is just one of the many things the big boys do to make A TON OF CASH!!! The understanding of human emotion is a very powerful tool in any marketers hand.


THEY DON'T REINVENT THE WHEEL, THEY MODIFY IT:-


Sticking to what works is key. I don't mean copy people, I mean identify what works and why it works...then put a unique twist and spin on the idea, funnel etc. Why reinvent the wheel....when the wheel is tough, reliable and a consistant spinning cash machine? Sure sometimes developing something works fine, but most people will fail before they even produce the new and bright product or system or whatever!!!


CUSTOMER FIRST...TRUST, GOODWILL, RELATIONSHIP & EXTREME VALUE:-


Customers online buy from people they trust. Top marketers gain trust with people right from the beginning, wether it is through an online blog or a welcome video or even something as simple as a response from a support email. In general everybody online is wary of things, so gaining trust is a must on the internet.


Building a relationship is key just like an offline business. Would you go to a rude mechanic who charges you an arm and a leg for an oil change that took 3 hours? NO, you would go to an mechanic who fixed your friends car an hour earlier than expected and gave them a $50 gift card for money off the next repairs. Online is just the same. Successful people build an online social presence, they communicate through twitter an facebook and they build relationships.


They also stand out because of the high value and good will they use in their marketing. Most people online hardsell and only want to make money. Sure a business is not a business if there is no money, but DONT SELL!!. Show people things of value, offer free stuff!!
