Book that changed my life

Currently now I'm reading a book by Brian Tracy "No Excuses!: The Power of Self-Discipline"
I read a lot of motivational literature (by Tony Robbins, Napoleon Hill), but I consider this book a life-changing, and must-read for every person on the earth.
This book forced me to write down goals for every day (including New Years Resolution), finally I started improving my English skills. I started get up at 6 am every morning.

I'm also huge personal development fan. I've read many Brian Tracy's books, including the book you mentioned. I agree that it's an amazing book!

Two others life-changing books (my favorite):
"How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie
"The Breakthrough Experience" by John F. Demartini

A book that changed my life, that's a hard question.

I read so many good books about personal development that it's hard to take a pick retrospectively. Of course, there were books that made me feel "hyped" right after I finished the last page. In a way every book I ever read changed my life. Personally I think it's important to read these books without any bias, trying to agree with the ideas the book presents because only then you can understand the whole message. Only after you actually finish the book and put the new knowledge into practice you can decide if it works or not.

An excellent read that's fresh in my mind would be Mastery by Robert Greene. I find biographies of great historical figures very inspiring.

According to me, I can truly say that "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" Stephen R. Covey, really changes my lifestyle.

Is there audio of it? Looking for some motivation stuff I can listen to while exercising. I think I've listened to The Art of Living - Bob Proctor 4-5 times now. Pretty good.

its a few weeks sense you posted this.. and an update if you are still doing these things ..

please excuse me if i don't value short term changes .. if you read the book a year or two ago .. and made the changes and stuck with them ..

then again.. that the poiny of motivational books and why you are told to read book after book after book ..

90 percent of that to dos in any motivational book ..appear in almost every motivational work ..and 50 percent of people who have gym memberships.. stop going the gym .. after the first few visits..

at what point do you stop reading and start doing what is in the books ..it is not the book it is the concepts .

here is a secret .. if you are not prparing most of what you eat or somone who cares for you is preparing most of what you eat..your long term success is hindered ..

    Big 3 for me:

4 Hour Work Week - Tim Ferris
    Crush It - Gary Vaynerchuk
    Rework - 37 Signal guys...

All changed the way I thought about business in the 21st century. It isn't ANYTHING like the way I was taught.

Lots more. If you aren't reading, you're missing out on life. Nothing is a better investment in your time and future

The Success Principles by Jack Canfied and co-creator Janet Switzer, you can find it on audio under youtube.com, Awesome book.

When you read or listen to Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich, there is one that states it is the best version under Youtube.com, also great to listen too.

It's on my book list and I've heard great things about Brian Tracy's "No Excuses". Right now I'm reading "Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart" by Gordon Levingston which is a great book filled with wisdom.

I almost picked this book up myself. It was on clearance at my local barnes & noble. I may just have to go get it tomorrow while I am out. This sounds like a fantastic way to really keep the right mind set and focus on yourself and your career.

    I like:

The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone

There are four levels of action:
    1. Do nothing
    2. Retreat
    3. Normal levels of action
    4. Massive Action

If you want to be successful, you must take massive action.

It was a great book - I'd recommend it to anyone.
