[SECRET PROTIP] Stop Asking So Many Questions about "Internet Marketing."

I know this is going to irritate a handful of people and get me flamed... but sucks for them.

One of the biggest bits of advice I can give y'all from what I have seen the past few days of being active
here again is that a lot of you are stuck in the mindset of "Internet Marketing" being some sort of mystical
realm that is separate from the rest of the world.

It's not.

You know what internet marketing actually is?

It is marketing. Normal run of the mill marketing. Normal run of the mill marketing that happens to take
place on the internet.

If you want to really be successful, stop pretending that it is anything but that. It isn't. Treat it as you
would treat any business-- online or in the real world. Stop looking for stupid shortcuts. Stop trying to
figure out "what the best thing for January 2016" is. Treat it like an actual business.

Learn to be persuasive.
Learn what makes people tick.
Learn what affects buying decisions.
Learn why people say no.
Learn why people say yes.
Learn why businesses fail.

All of this will have a direct impact on your "internet marketing"... a 7 page report that some dude writes
about a "new system" that he vaguely implies he has used successfully is not going to get you to that
next level.

Take a step back and note something about the people who have managed to break free of the hamster
wheel in the internet marketing industry. The ones who ACTUALLY make money. None of them have
approached it as "internet marketing"... they have all approached it like a normal business.

It's a lot less "fun" approaching it this way, because you no longer get excited every time you see a new
"ground breaking" report... but it is the way that WORKS and will essentially guarantee you success.

That's my advice to you. Take it or leave it. But those of you who take it, enjoy success.

i don't think this sucks at all. Good advice. Just get on with it and do it. No wonder alot of people dont trust making money online as there is so much bad advice out there and untrustworthy people.
Actions speak louder than words, good advice. I just got on with it and now have an online business

  • There is really no secret to becoming successful at affiliate marketing. Like any other businesses out there, the IM industry is most of the time, a risk.

Starting off with affiliate marketing is mostly a trial and error. And although there are a lot of courses and pieces of advice online, you still need to find what works best for you.

I agree with what you said about what IM is.

It's true Internet Marketing really is just marketing but done via the medium of the net.

Once you learn what the classic principles of marketing are you can sell anywhere online or offline, Warrior Forum or any other online forum.

That being said, we are all learning so I wouldn't knock anyone who's asking questions about IM. I don't know everything there is to know. I do learn things from this forum which is why I visit it from time to time.

I owe this forum a lot actually. Some of the content here is quite beneficial at times.

It's ok to learn IM but also learn the principles of classic marketing which can be applied to any platform online and offline.

IM is not limited to Warrior Forum. There is life beyond Warrior Forum if only some people tried venturing out of their comfort zone.
