New to the Warrior Forums and need some direction

I am looking to start making more money, I am willing to do just about anything. I am not looking for something I want to do, but something that is pretty easy to get into with or without school or certain experience. I am willing to get a license for anything especially if it doesn't take long to get it and can really help me boost my income.

Also when I am saying I am not looking for something I want to do, I mean I want to start making larger amounts of money as soon as possible and pursue the things I want to do by going to school, finding a mentor, etc.

I apologize if I am being vague, I purposely did not reveal any of my skills, knowledge, background, location, or education since I would like general answers first, then give more specific information about myself after some general replies. Please give any advice, criticism, links, etc. you have so I can become successful.

Thank you.

I think general answers are just a waste of people's time without knowing anything about you. I could tell you to open a daycare center, but if you hate kids, or you're a convicted sex offender, that's not a good idea.

You must surely have an idea of something you would like to do, or something that interests you.

A real career coach isn't going to point you in any direction or offer advice without knowing something about you and that's probably true here.

You can spend some of your own energy looking at entrepreneurial magazines that identify franchises with low start up costs that might allow you to make more money than you're making now. How about starting your own hotdog cart? Sound like good advice?

You can also check out career guidance books such as the Occupational Outlook Handbook to get an idea of careers that are in demand and what level of education they take.

Whenever I want to do something big, I personally do this:

      1. Search the internet for "best books <what you want to do>"

      2. Read the reviews. Do you think it contains the tips you're looking for?

      3. Buy the book and learn from it. Follow what it says, or not if you find out that you can't make it work.

Alternatively, search for blog articles about it. I DO suggest books since they're generally reviewed by other people (you can easily sift through the bad ones and those you don't need by reading the reviews), and they're generally more complete as they detail things from start to finish (whereas articles usually are designed to be short, and that might mean they lack crucial details).

Step one is definitely to find something you're interested in. There are no get-rich-quick schemes - without the interest or passion you will struggle to put in the effort and hard work needed to become profitable. If there was a single general high-income, low-passion niche, everyone would be doing it!
