Diary Of A Wimpy Internet Marketer...

**If you're offended by a little swearing, DO NOT READ THIS**

I used to SUCK at talking to girls.

It’s not I thought I was hideous or anything like that.

I could be myself with my guy friends...funny, confident, you name it, but when it came to talking to the womens, well I just sucked ass.

Even when I did get the ladies’ attention, I was bashful and I’d ruin it somehow.
Ugh...what a dweeb.

Then I started researching about how to get better at talking to girls. (Sound familiar? I must’ve seen 80,000 videos on how to build a ******* landing page)

I found out about something called the “Mystery Method”, a 1-2-3 type of system on talking to women. Heck, they even had something called “canned openers” that were all about icebreakers to ask just about any girl or group of girls like “Are you guys best friends?” or “Who lies more, women or men?” and it worked to some degree.

That shit got old though because everyone learning this was using the same lines. (Again, does this sound familiar? Not being original catches up with you eventually). Also, it kind of trained you to be a prick to women which wasn't really my style.

While this did encourage me go out a more and try to use some of their techniques, I realized it was making me a little more asshole-y (and redundant) than I usually am, so I absorbed what was useful, discarded what was useless and added what was specifically my own and sought some training that resonated with me just a wee bit more.

I ended up finding out about these other dudes called RSD Nation on YouTube and they were:

  • Brash.
  • Unconventional.
  • They knew how to have fun and ACT quickly (which was something I completely overlooked!)

I was hooked.

I studied this shit like crazy and even though I thought the “Mystery Method” was pretty good, I thought these RSD dudes were deities amongst mortals.

Reason being, that they simplified the process and did shit that was more about just being completely comfortable in your own skin WHILE being original.

I studied YouTube video after YouTube video and finally said “**** it” and started applying some of their style rather than just studying forever like a pussy.

As I got more comfortable, what I realized the most is that I loved having fun which mostly came from acting quickly. Meanwhile, what I'd focused on in the past was just getting laid to be honest, or at least just looking cool to chicks.

Now I’d go out and just try to talk to everyone as soon as possible, even a simple "hello"... cashiers, doormen, guys, women, the more awkward guys... you name it.

Saw a LOT of rejection at first.

What I noticed was that when I focused on ACTING right away I got momentum and everything just got easier.

I’d laugh, dance like an idiot, introduce people to other people (and of course talked to many beautiful women) and just for fun I’d go up to girls and tell them to “Hug me like they’ve never hugged me before” which was true, I didn’t know most of them. I became a hub for fun, this was more MY style..

It was awesome, I’d learned a proven style firsthand AND managed to add my own flavor.

When practicing this I became (over the course of the night):

  • Unapologetic
  • Fearless
  • Confident as shit
  • Myself

**This absolutely translates to the internet marketing world**

Yet for some reason, when practicing what I'd learned about internet marketing I'd completely neglected my Superman powers and started:
  • Asking a million questions
  • Buying 30,000 digital products
  • Being afraid to ask for a sale.
Shit... THIS sounds familiar now.

Internet marketing had become my new hot chick that I’ve been terrified to approach for fear of rejection, or the unknown.

It's time to incorporate whatever past success we've had and put our own twist on it and actually ACT upon it.

Time to be comfortable making mistakes, gaining momentum, having fun and figuring it out how to make some dinero along the way.

Hope this long-winded rant hits close to home kiddos.

I'm able to really resonate with this because I currently go out and pick-up women daily while running an online business. For me this is the lifestyle of my dreams. Being able to have the ability to approach and attract beautiful women and at the same time having the ability to write my own checks and handle my financial situation.

You're right man, if you take the fearless attitude required to be successful with "pick-up" and apply it to online marketing, success is inevitable.

Thanks man, I'm glad this hit close to home.

  • 'Lift', not 'pick'.

    Talk 'with', not 'to'.

    That is my analysis

    of the analogy,

    pour vous.

I guess the deal always is tryin' to tap a kinda mutual, interactive succulence, whether this is guys talkin' with gals, gals talkin' with guys, for the purpose of either business or pleasure.

That is not best achieved by bein' overly tentative, as you say.

Gotta say, I have not encountered the Mystery Method before , but it is in the nature of the mysterious to lurk below the surface.

Most mysterious stuff eludes me that way.

Ok, this must be where the blood trail ends, or am l getting colder?

"Hug, me like you......" gee, l would have to be drunk and half on cocaine to use that lame line!

I might be wrong, but l believe that a 20 something year old started this thread?

Still a work in progress, but still unwrapping the brushes?

For me l don't use any lines at all, it all comes down to be attracted to someone, or the other way around, and it going from there.

Although some attractive women staring at me, or smiling is still tricky to pick up.

      Well, the staring one, is!

Many times I was a bit inebriated when I used that line and you know what? The ladies loved it.

Actually, I was a late bloomer. I was in long relationships in my 20's and when I got out I was closer to 30 (I'm now 33).

Whatever works for you is cool, this just happened to work for me because I'm a hugger and plus I stood out like a sore thumb compared to all the other guys cupping there beer trying to act "cool".

It's all about being comfortable in your own skin IMO. I was comfortable acting silly, hugging and kissing girls almost immediately.

Yes I saw rejection and I wasn't even "in the zone" some nights I'll be honest.

Dude, what would it matter if a 20 year old or a 30 year old was doing this?

It doesn't really matter what you say, if you make the women FEEL good by making them laugh (this was my way that worked like a charm) then it's all good no?

It's been floating around in Facebook in various groups for the last couple months.

I get what you're trying to get at, but marketing =/= women.

Try telling your future girlfriend she gets a 3 days money back guarantee if you can't make her filthy stinking rich in 24 hours.

Or show them a one time offer as they're about to back out of the date. "Don't leave until you see THIS!"

It's good you got over your fear. Fear is you holding yourself back, by overthinking the situation and it doesn't ever help deliver the results you want.

Dude I wrote this lol, you know I'm not only on the WF. I've shared this in a few groups (about 5) yes because I think it is relevant.

Does that make this less credible that I've shared it in 2 platforms?

This is just a positive message (at least I'd hoped) for people that have struggled with making money online AND talking to the ladies.

I did for years and it SUCKED.

I'm not guaranteeing anyone shit man, I was just hoping this would help people in some way.

If someone copied this or something, I can't speak for that if they did then that's kind of flattering IMO.

Believe it or not, people can be on FB and the WF man...it's crazy.

Later man, have a good one.

If you're the writer, then you've got people jacking you lol

What groups are you a part of?

I edited my post. Woke up feeling a bit frisky this morning.

I don't buy into the whole world existing outside of the WF thing, though. That's crazy talk.

I'll edit my post. When you're around here a little longer, you'll see how often other people's crap gets shared with a link drop in here.
I'm in Niche Hacks, Web Riders, and a few others. I have my own FB group too but I just started it, it's in my signature.

I can't really control if people are jacking my shit lol, it's just a FB/WF post.

I don't really care either because I'm just kind of flattered by it.

      No worries man.

I was never in PBN, but I was in the Daily Business Hustle but I did not post this in there.

      ******* thieves!!

      Bahahaha

JK, that's crazy that they've jacked it.

Kind of sorry but like I said, imitation is a form of flattery.

      Oh well.

Can you tell me who shared this as their own?

I'm not in PBN and I'm not in Daily Business Hustle anymore...

      Just curious.

I'll try digging it up, can't make any promises when it comes to Facebook, though.

I've tried finding posts from 15 minutes before and they were long gone.

This has been within the last couple of months, so there's no telling. If I can find it with some quick searches I'll shoot you the users.

I posted this on January 22nd in a couple of groups. Let me know, I just want to double check it's not anyone in my group. That I have some control over.

      Thanks for letting me know!

PM me if you can man. Just look up "wimpy" when you search in the group. I don't imagine there's too many posts with that word in there.
