How to becoame a master at anything

Believe it or not but there is really only one way to become a master. You can read every book in the world, attend various courses and do all the degrees. You can debate or even create philosophy.

But the only one way to get mastery is through doing...

Bruce Lee once said, "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."

Do you agree...?

Yes, persistence and focus are the keys to mastery of anything; music, marketing, memory, etc. Keep going with a clear goal in mind; take consistent action, and you will get closer to that goal,

    cheers,

    Jon.

Yes, I agree. I read somewhere someone said you need to practice a skill for about 10,000 hours and you will have mastered it. or practicing a skill for a total of 10,000 hours and you are considered an expert in the field. I guess it's just a guideline to follow.

Dedication and devotion is the key to master anything.

As long as you have the willingness and passion to master one thing you are on the right track.

It's impossible to master a lot of things. Just focus with one.

Hmm would that make most drunks masters?

I do see the point the OP is making but I think just repetition may be a little overly simple.

We need to go a little further with honing ones skills, continuing to learn even finding new ways to do things. Shooting a basket ball one million times will not make you a Jordan.

Are we masters of sleep? Or are we masters of breathing? I realized (thanks to Anthony Robbins) how deep breathing before bed would help me get a great nights rest.

Are humans masters of interacting with other humans? We certainly do a lot of it but not that many have mastered it that is for sure.

Bruce Lee did alot more than reps when you imagine he also created an entire martial arts fighting style in Jeet Kune Do. Now that is certainly Master Level.
