For me it would be "action". All too often people get caught up in reading things and never putting them into motion. You'll never succeed unless you take "ACTION".

      "Character."

For me that means treating people -- customers, vendors, business partners, etc -- fairly, honestly, and with integrity.

You may not always make the most financial gains this way. However, you'll feel good about yourself and sleep well each and every night.

And I feel that is one great measure of success!

I would say its very difficult to sum up success in one word as the word by itself is so elusive one. I would say DISCIPLINE is what i can define success with and to add up if you add up the numbering of the words from A to Z, the total would come up to 100%. and the next word would be ACTION. Thanks

thanks alot and here mu point of view.

from my extensive reading about successful people such as entrepreneurs, famous I came out with sumup as follow:
the reasons why they got into business, making money would probably be close to number one.thier main goals in mind and none of them included the word "money." as this famous enterproner sum up his premitive goals before he involved in buisines."The first thing I wanted to do was share my faith," says John Roise. "Second, I wanted to be able to hire people who needed a second, third or fourth chance; people like ex-prisoners and drug addicts. Third, I wanted to speak out on social issues. And finally, I wanted to be able to take short-term mission trips."
thus when any person want to succeed in any of his future project he has to improve him self by good prensiples and attitudes to not fall in crisis in the future, even if he meet this kind of problem and he will because the secret of life to find the answer to any question as well as to find solution to any problem and so om. he will be able to get out from the life's exame as I dear to call it .
this is onley one secret of success from an over view ongle, and I wish it usefule to those who are in need.

    thanks best wishes.

    Leverage.

  • "FOCUS"

It's so common we see people joining one program after another and failing and then say it didn't work for them. When what really happens is that they didn't focus on one system, one proven railroad that other people have tried before and achieved good results.

You need to believe in your capacity to achieve and focus on what you're doing. You will find a lot of things along the way, don't let them distract you.

      "CHANGE"

It's human nature to settle into a routine that only causes occasional discomfort. Our main drives, namely, the pursuit of pleasure and avoidance of pain, are not enough to motivate 95% of the population. This is primarily because we don't experience enough pain from failure, or the fear of failure, to drive us toward putting forth more effort into the pursuit of our goals.

We must commit to CHANGE everything or else our future will be way too similar to our past.

Not sure there is one word there's a series of them

    1. decide - to be successful
    2. act - taking action turns intent to results
    3. commit - be determined and persevere to get over obtacles and make it happen

A lot of people start with one and two yet the truly successful make sure they hang in for 3. Any biography I've read attests to the power to keep focussed on the outcome.

It's really interesting to see that success is defined in so many different words by all the warriors. Like some of the previous posters, I would say its

    PERSISTENCE

Action and Focus are so vital as well but from how I see it, you have to PERSISTENTLY take action and be focused to achieve the success you want. I mean what good is it taking only one action or being focused for only one hour and expecting the money to flow in because you took "action".

Only continuous action and focus gets you the desired results. I want to share a poem by Ralph Maston on Persistence - something that keeps me going when I'm frustrated or down.

Persist, and one small effort builds upon
    another. Persist,
and time works in your favor.

Persist, and what was once impossible
    becomes commonplace.
Persist, and what was once out of reach will
    come to you in
    remarkable abundance.

Persist when events turn against you, and you'll
    steadily
put things back in your favor. Persist when
    there's every
reason to stop going, and the rewards will be
    even bigger
    than you can imagine.

Where you start matters not much at all. How
    much you
persist is what make the real difference.

To persist, you don't need any special skill or
    knowledge.
The main thing it takes is desire.

You can persist when there's reason enough.
    And somewhere in
your life, you know right now, is that reason.

So Persist, Stay Focused and Take Continuous Action!

Thanks Shaleniie for the great poem on PERSISTENCE.
In my work persistence is a most important element.

I've spent years developing a system that actually makes a persistent
nature in people a real and active part of how their thinking can operate naturally.

I love the poem because it states: "To persist, you don't need any special skill or
knowledge." How true that is. In the tool I've created a user can locate the direct
gut drive that causes a work of persistence.

Interesting that 99.9% of the warriors that have responded to this have all listed an intrinsic rather than an extrinsic ability that they feel is important to success.

Don't see anyone listing: good looks, body height, language, or gender as factors to success at all.

    Very cool don't you think?

So why, I wonder, is there such a lot of internet biz sites that connect doing well and having success to the more external (extrinsic) value of having lots of money?

    Just wondering.

Other people have said it but it's worth repeating:

      A C T I O N

Pure and simple, if you take ACTION you will, sooner or later, be successful.

    indefatigable

      Positivity.

It is very hard - if not impossible - to have any success with a negative attitude.

And if you did you wouldn't enjoy it anyway.

    Great question
There have been some fabulous suggestions all of which are important to success. However my word would be Passion. If you are not passionate about what you are doing when things get tough it's harder to keep moving forward.

Belief is the one word I would add in to all the other good words like perseverance, action, persistence etc

Because we do need to believe that if we pull all those other good points together, things will start to happen for us.

    Good luck everyone
