Push Your Own Buttons

Have you figured out what is inspiring you each day?

Is it fear of loss or promise of gain that makes you jump out of bed each day?

For me I guess its a combo of both.

I will never commute to a 9 to 5 again in my life and I never want that to change.

But even if I was already very rich when I read the Forbes TOP 400 and see the toys they have it is very inspiring.

For me it's also both. But it's kinda more of gaining that inspires me more. I work hard to earn money because I'm afraid that time will come and I don't have any when I need it the most.

Very interesting! Thank you for your article!
For me, it's to see the opportunity which allow me to get benefits in my life.
I have nothing to lose: I live alone, I have not duty for no one, I have a great job that allow me to be free for building my business and also I have a time to make sports that I like.
That's inspire me is to become inspiring ;-)

  • Sometimes you feel like you could revert to a 9 to 5. Being your own boss ain't a Sunday-stroll-downtown. However, I can tell you from personal experience that once you are focused on "pushing your own buttons", there will be breakthroughs to keep you from reverting. You will soon need people to work a 9-5 for you; Let them choose their destiny.

So true. We all love to be entrepreneurs but I learned a long time ago on commissions only that you better go above and beyond average if you are on your own and then something like medical or life's little incidentals comes into play.

Hey Nassime, I also appreciate your thought provoking threads my friend.

You are in one heck of a unique situation. No office politics, long commute or micro managing boss and still get the benefits? Awesome.

Now that is keeping it real.

I am one of those who moved to the island ready or not and never looked back but I can tell you it was the biggest test on discipline or lack of it I ever had in my entire life.
