    I don't think that's a shortcut, I think that's a prerequisite for success.. But that's just me

Not exactly a shortcut. Actually it sounds like alot of work lol. Alot of newbies might get turned off by all the steps required. If i had to layout a super-fast shortcut or fast start guide... it would go something like this:

    1) Find niche market
    2) Get site and domain name
    3) Get an email autoresponder for email marketing
    4) Create a squeeze page to capture leads
    5) Drive traffic
    6) Market to them via email marketing
    7) Link to product in each email
    8) Wait for leads to buy
    9) Put them in backend marketing funnel
    10) Continue to sell to customers for more sales from them
    11) Repeat steps 5-10

Gordon, you make too much sense and it seems many of the people here don't like to listen to sense - they'd rather just bypass the sense (another name for "smart work" or as you pointed out, things that produce income ) and get straight to the money flooding into their bank account.

People are attracted to "easy," "guaranteed," "push button," "automatic," "money while you sleep," "no work required" hype that is pushed by so many flakey business start-up peddlers. Why plan when you can have all you want right now?

    This needed to be highlighted.

    Great post in general, gjabiz.

Also, I hope this doesn't get thrown into Mind Warriors because most of the people who need this are those hanging around the Main Forum.

I see a couple of people have mentioned that having a plan isn't a "shortcut" and I see where they're coming from but...

When you're completely spinning your wheels, this IS the shortcut to stop mucking around.

It's not the technical advice people need help with, it's not even knowing they need a plan in the first place.

    Regards,
    Daniel

Couple of you guys are getting stuck in semantics here with the "Shortcutt' thing. Not necessarily saying it is a shortcut but Gordon presents a effective no nonsense method that works and "relative" to other models many IMers adopt and try to do for years and years without success....well it surely could be argued as a shortcut

    Too bad, so sad.

Truth is - it doesn't have to take years - or even months. It takes a plan and focused work....it doesn't take a bunch of WSOs or other "products' - it takes YOU doing what YOU need to do. That is the hardest part.

We have people on this forum asking newbies questions - with hundreds of posts here. You can make being a "newbie" a career - or not. Those who make money quickly choose NOT to be a permanent "newbie."

    Hey GiaBiz great post.

There is a post of a fellow warrior that had relatively quick success focusing primarily on Solo ads as a foundation to build a list quickly and is making thousands of dollars a month.

    Still digging for it.

Another Warrior has a pretty long running Successful WSO on his "simple" youtube marketing strategies.

I had huge success as a product creator pretty fast just from making observations.

How long does it take to make a free offer then add a paid offer on the back end while building your list?

I guess that answer will be as quick or slow as each one of us can comprehend and implement each step.

One thing I love about Internet Marketing is you can start with absolutely nothing or have a budget in place and there are so many proven paths to choose.

But that wide variety of options can also be one of the reasons people get a little frozen in the headlights.

I love comments that make a sincere contribution in making a difference.

    High 5.

Moderators please put this thread back in the main forum where it was originally posted !!This is not mind warrior material. This will help the newbies learn to shoot for a target instead of spinning their wheels.

Yes. That's true. No matter how bumpy the road is you have to keep going. You'll get there. It just takes time and courage.
