Hey everyone, so long story short I stumbled onto this forum while doing some research on how I can create a lead generation business. Just tired of the 9-5 and I want to be my own boss. So till I figure something out I'm working the 9-5 and trying to figure out a side hustle till it's got enough traction for me to leave the 9-5. Anyhow I'm new to this forum stuff but I'm always open to converse with like minded individuals. Like my father always told me, "show me who your friends are and I'll show you who you are." So I'm trying to surround myself with more like-minded people's. Well I kinda drifted a bit from my original question, which is books, articles, or even posts on these forums that anyone can recommend to read.

Hello! Nice work on learning how to slowly escape the 9-5. Some people are too scared to even consider that. Anyway, I've recently left my job last February 2016 myself to work full time on my blog (it'll take a lot of work, but good thing the passive income I've built in the last 6 years allowed it).

If you want some great books to read, these are my top 10 recommendations (the link includes my reviews):
    1. “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert T. Kiyosaki
    2. “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth” by T. Harv Eker
    3. “The Richest Man in Babylon” by George S. Clason
    4. “The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing” by Taylor Larimore, Mel Lindauer, and Michael LeBoeuf
    5. “Your Money or Your Life: 9 Steps to Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence” by Vicki Robin and Joe Dominguez (with Monique Tilford)
    6. “Wooden on Leadership: How to Create a Winning Organization” by John Wooden and Steve Jamison
    7. “The Millionaire Next Door” by Thomas J. Stanley and William D. Danko
    8. “The Art of Worldly Wisdom” by Baltasar Gracian
    9. “50 Success Classics: Winning Wisdom for Work & Life from 50 Landmark Books”, “50 Prosperity Classics”, and “50 Self-Help Classics: 50 Inspirational Books to Transform Your Life from Timeless Sages to Contemporary Gurus” by Tom Butler-Bowdon
    10. “The Success Principles: How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be” by Jack Canfield

They're mostly on the personal finance and self-help, but I believe you might find them useful. Good luck, and I hope you'll become successful soon!
