I know already what is the effect to achieve a goal: it's amazing right! But there is another effect: my belief system changed.

And you, do you have already achieving a goal? Your impression?

I'm not exactly sure what your question is but I know that when I'm getting close to achieving a goal I get really anxious and excited and then once that goal is achieved I feel like I'm on top of the world because all that anxiety is gone and just the feeling of accomplishment takes over

I'm still on my way towards achieving my goals. I'm not there yet but I'm closer than I was yesterday. It's exciting and at the same time scary to set goals. Because there's always a constant battle between I can and I can't.

Yes, thanks for your answer annyabanana!
If I can give you an advice: if you can change something make it, if you really can't accept it and let go.
So try to keep your focus on that you can

Sure, your belief system changes when you *grow* with your goals and then, you set higher goals and there goes the neighborhood.

I have plenty of goals to achieve. I don't know if I can make them into reality but surely I want them to. I don't know how I'm going to achieve them but I'm willing to do whatever it is.

Thanks for you answer blakesienna, very interesting!
It's good to begin to get a goal, but you need to get clear actions to add in your daily to be near every day of your goal. It's always step by step. You are in a good way, so continue ;-)

First congratulate to you and others who have achieve their goal.
Talking about goal, from what i learn, i create 4 different kind of goals
    - long-term goals
    - yearly goals
    - monthly goals
    - weekly goals

the long-term goals requires many years to accomplish. thinking of it as aiming for a goal 1000 miles away, you cannot see it with your eyes, but you must see it with your mind. that is very important. and accomplish this goal will mean tremendous to your life. i have many on my list, and although i have not accomplish it yet, it feel so great just to think of the day i accomplish it.

the yearly goals is mostly the breakdown of the long-term goals, but it can also include some other goals that you think you can accomplish in a year.

breakdown the yearly goals into monthly goals, and you got yourself an digestible goals which by accomplishing these piece each month will ensure you to reach your yearly goals.

finally the weekly goal which is a very detail measurement of each step you are going take. It is essential to review your weekly goal daily.

I also include myself a daily goal or to-do list. And at the end of week, I will review the list and celebrate all of my achievement in that week, even by simply pay gratitude to myself and all those who help me achieve these goals. Those achievement are small indeed, but I always remind myself that these achievement is what will lead me to my big goals. And of course, the feeling of reaching a goal is always exciting.
I have used these system for a few years now. Of course, I don’t always complete all of those goals, but that never really disappoint me since I focus more on what I accomplish which give me more happiness, excitement, and energy to keep going on this long journey ahead.

Yes, goals feel great when achieved - and should be celebrated.

The way I structure my goal setting is without pain, it is fun and enjoyable. I also find that the goals I set happen with less effort on my part because I'm not fixated on the result but more on what the journey is teaching me.

I had set up my goal for 2016 in the end of January and began working on it on February. Everyday I work to the best of my ability to make sure I accomplish that goal. Get the results that I want and hopefully my whole life will change for the better
